The Toledo Buffalo Soldiers and Off The Rails food truck are teaming up with community members to provide a healthy breakfast to kids who normally would have one at school or at the Wayman Palmer YMCA. Karl Borko teaches precision engineering at Start HS for TPS. His group of students and others at the school have been involved with NASA in the development of a rover for the Mars program. Family House is the only Toledo facility that allows entire families to stay together while they are unhoused. Besides providing shelter the facility offers classes in budget management, child care, relationships, and employment. They get funds from government agencies but are planning a fund raiser of their own in June.

World Rare Disease Day Is February 29 This Year #RareDiseaseDay 28.02.2020

The last day of February each year is rare disease day and this year Fred had on Deb Ayres and daughter Avalon who created the Avalon Foundation known as kidcaringforkids. Avalon suffers from HPP Hypophosphatasia a rare genetic disorder characterized by the abnormal development of bones and teeth. She began kidscaringforkids.org as a way to help other kids with HPP.
