Mayor of Maumee Jim McDonald spoke with Fred about recent recall efforts aimed at him and members of city council. 

Dane Johnson spoke with Fred about efforts to recall six council persons and the mayor in Maumee. Petitions are available now for signatures. You must be a resident of Maumee and a registered voter. 

Opposition to the expansion of I-475 is coming from surrounding neighborhoods and Fred spoke with one of the leaders of that opposition about their reasons. 

Joys of Toys is promoting three events in the next few weeks to supply Christmas gifts to children in foster care. Vanessa Kwiatkowski will be performing a piano recital Sunday at 2p for the Polish Cultural Center. A selection of Chopin Bach, Ravel and others will be performed at the University Of Toledo Recital Center. Admission is $10 and $5 for members of any Polish groups in the community.
