It means prioritizing eternal life and in this life make decisions accordingly.

Instead, the Trinity is first a communion of Persons we are invited to know. We do not primarily come to know God through intellectual deduction. We come to know God through prayerful union with Him.

The Catechism teaches us that hope is the theological virtue by which we desire the kingdom of heaven and eternal life as our ultimate happiness, placing our trust in Christ's promise and not relying on our own strength, but on the help of the Holy Spirit's grace.

It is just not possible to invite the Holy Spirit to come, to visit, and to fill us on condition that the Spirit leave us, thank you, just as we were before.

We need a faith that is a radical personal decision for God that will allow us to discover the light and the strength we need to face the challenges of today.

To make the switch from this addictive habit of looking only at the negative to being present to the world around us in praise and gratitude to God can be difficult.

A post-mortem exam revealed that he had an enlarged heart, so much so that two of his ribs were dislocated.

The Person of the Holy Spirit does not exist in himself; he exists in two Persons: the Father and the Son.

But living loved isn’t just their mind-set; it is a choice they make daily. It isn’t just a possible thing they should try. It’s the only solution that actually works. We have to tell our minds to live loved.

Love is not violent or bullish; it is never insistent. Love is a quiet whisper, a discreet invitation, a careful knock on the door. Love does not restore law and order by decree and mandate, and it doesn’t revenge itself by oppressing the guilty.

What incites us to nervousness or panic is never God’s will! It is our own illusion that makes us believe that we must absolutely do certain things within a certain time.

Show us the Father and we will be satisfied!
