Jesus, the Creator of heaven and earth, is present with us even in the storms of life, and His presence makes all the difference. Like the disciples, we must learn to respond to life’s challenges with faith, trusting in the authority and power of the One who calms the wind and the waves.

Today we explore how Jesus’ gut-level compassion drove him to feed over 5,000 people with just five loaves and two fish, inviting his disciples—and us—to join in God’s work by offering what little we have and watching it become more than enough.

Jesus invites us this Miraculous May to step into His promise that anyone who believes will do even greater works, reminding us that God often over-delivers beyond our expectations. In honest acknowledgment of our frustration in the waiting, we are called to bring our doubts to a compassionate Father, stand firm in faith between the now and not yet, and believe beyond what we see.

The Samaritan woman gives us a lesson in effective evangelism in just one sentence. Today we look at how we can share our faith with others, in a way that leads people to a life changing encounter with Jesus.

Jesus loves you and God put a plan in place to draw you close to him.

God’s plan for the church is to increase us through adding and multiplying, which requires the church to be in unity. On the other hand, the enemy (the devil’s) plan is to divide and subtract and decrease the power and effect of the church through divisions.
