Forget Me Not

Reflect on any challenges you're facing. Can you see them as opportunities for sacrificial love, embraced with hope and confidence? Seek to imitate Jesus by joyfully embracing difficulties, knowing they ultimately lead to resurrection.

Reflect on the mystery and calling of humility today. Even if it's difficult, choose to humble yourself and serve others. Attend to their needs, listen to them, and show compassion. By doing so, you will fulfill the desire for greatness within your heart.

Reflect on your own sinfulness and develop a healthy aversion to sin. As you seek God's mercy, strive to extend that mercy to others. Just as you receive mercy from God, share it with those around you. This is the essence of Jesus' teaching.

Reflect today on the importance of fasting and mortification. Although initially undesirable, these penitential acts strengthen our spirit, allowing God to take greater control and direct our actions more effectively. Commit to this holy practice, and witness the transformative power it holds.

Compare that to your own desire, or lack thereof, to approach our Lord for the spiritual healing your soul needs. Foster a deeper desire for this healing, especially through the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Reflect today on the people in the Gospel who were captivated by Jesus, seeking him continually. Consider their excitement, hope, and genuine joy in discovering the Messiah. Evaluate whether you share their enthusiasm. If lacking, recommit to seeking the Lord; if present, rejoice and give glory to God.
