Beset by delays, cursed with stories of gastronomic taboo, Death on the Nile finally hits cinema screens.  Does it follow in the tracks of it's flawed predecessor "Murder on the Orient Express"? Or does the film forge ahead and create its own wake?

Big stunts, bad teeth, besmirched landmarks and ball shots aplenty - The FMB continue to stick to their diet of home-grown offerings and this week it's 1975's exploitation chopsocky delight "The Man From Hong Kong".  next week we take a brief break from Aussie cinema and visit new release Death on The Nile.

Merry Christmas FMBuffs! It may come as a surprise that the last two FMB episodes are nowhere to be seen, but some scheduling errors have delayed those releases and led us to drop our Christmas episode uncharacteristically early and in time for Christmas! This week the FMB break the glass on yet another listener suggestion: 1999's underappreciated ironic cannibal-western, Ravenous.  The boys are mixed on the film as a whole, but praise gets thrown about favouring among other things, the score, the indelible Robert Carlyle and Guy Pearce's performance as a sentient cleaning utensil.  next week: The Fisher King

It's been years. Too long since the FMB have touched Bond and Bond, in turn, graced the FMB. The drought ends today with 007's latest finally getting a release Down Under. Daniel Craig bids farewell to the role he's inhabited since 2006 and the boys discuss this closing chapter and muse on what may be in store for cinemas perennial secret agent in this supersized episode.  next week: Ravenous
