In a very musical episode, The Boys take a trip down Copperhead Road after a critics screening* of Joe Kosinski's firefighting epic "Only The Brave". Along the way they make ample time to express concern for Jeff Bridges' mental health and profess their love for all things Taylor Kitsch.  *special thanks to atebit.net for that one

While waiting for calls to come in during our very special call-in episode, The Movie Boys fill in the gaps by talking over the positives and negatives of Marvel's latest offering. That being the Taika Waititi-directed superhero romp Thor: Ragnarok. enjoy

  Fresh from a double viewing of Denis Villeneuve's Blade Runner 2049, the boys dutifully spend 90 percent of the time trying to unpack the film, with just enough room to take potshots at Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu. This episode originally ran close to 90mins so we've shaved it down to a manageable...70, which is befitting of a film that runs close to 3hrs.

The (movie) boys are back with another Stephen King adaptation! Maciej and Tobias talk about it. 'It' being the 2017 film adaptation of Stephen Lang-sorry- Stephen King's  arguably most popular novel: "It". They boys go a bit off the rails talking past and future King films and as a result this episode runs a tad long, but they at least agree on the creamy perfection of Jon Boyega's skin. 

Tobias and Maciej discuss the  manga anime  Adam Wingard-helmed American remake of the popular Japanese property, Death Note and surprisingly culminates into a pitched fistfight between the usually amicable hosts. The boys pay tribute to Shea Wingham, lament about Lakeith Stanfield and repeatedly threaten to make a mess of Nat Wolff's pretty face. 

Maciej and Tobias celebrate Luc Besson's *4th(?) greatest film Valerian and The City of A Thousand Planets.  Much disagreement is had over the film's quality, so of course this episode needed a brief retrospective of director Luc Besson's greatest films, a lengthy tangent into the career of cinematographer-turned director Barry Sonnenfeld, and Mark Wahlberg makes his triumphant return to muse on h...

So unfortunately Tobias and Maciej stumble across a movie it seems they failed to enjoy on almost any level.  Unfortunately that movie is David Leitch's The Atomic Blonde. So Dunkirk is great. Tobias and Maciej talk about what they liked and maybe didn't like about Christopher "Chris" Nolan's latest flick. WARNING Teeth-grinding levels of nitpicking abound and a surprising chunk of this episode is dedicated to Bryan Cranston for some reason. 

After a bad-movie streak, Tobias and Maciej muster an atypically measured discussion about Spiderman's first MCU adventure. Conversation varies from unsatisfying character arcs to our collective love of Logan Marshall Green and the durability of Michael Keaton's skin. Apologies for this episode folks, some tech trouble means this ep sounds like we recorded this in a bathtub...we're getting better...

Transformers: The Last Night is a gruelling 149 minutes long. Why not instead spend 69 minutes with Maciej and Tobias as they try their best to piece their brains together after seeing Michael Bay's final, skull-shattering film in the Transformers series.  Peter Cullen, Mark Wahlberg and Michael Caine(??) impressions abound. 

Definitely not the "Movieboyz" talking about definitely not The Mummy. At least not Stephen Sommers' 1999 box office smash hit, The Mu m my.  A sensible discussion between Maciej and Tobias on the new Tom Cruise film with logical tangents into Jumanji, fighting Ryan Phillipe and Javier Bardem's waning career.
