1 John 4:17-21     I. Love Breeds Assurance; vs.17 II. Love Removes Fear; vs.18-19 III. Love Obeys; vs.20-21   The love manifested to us is to be manifested through us. 

1 John 4:7-16 The Command to Love; vs.7-8 The Evidence of God's Love; vs.9-11 The Evidence of God In Us; vs.12-16 God is love. If He is in us, His love is in us. It should also be spilling out of us. This is how He longs to be known - by His love.

Hear The Spirit of God; vs. 4 - 6   There were many false prophets in New Testament times, persuasive communicators They caused many to doubt whether Jesus was truly God in the flesh. The church had to be warned of them just as we do today.
