Facing The Fire! I want to share with you a message that I shared at the House of Hope in Windom last month. The message comes from Daniel 3. Obey God and leave all the circumstances to Him. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego all refused to bow to King Nebuchadnezzar. It is such a strong testimony to us all,Facing the FIRE!

This morning I want to share on "How Does God Define Sin" based on Jeremiah 2: 12-17. Sin is defines as "missing the mark"....just as an arrow misses a bull's eye on a target. God's holiness is the standard we are to meet, and we miss it whenever we sin. Another way to look at sin is that we "fall short" of God's perfect Will. God desires that we live in wholeness and obey all His commands.

The Line We Must Not Cross: How to control our anger based on Isiah 64:9......In that verse the prophet implores God with these words: "Do not be angry beyond measure, Lord; do not remember our sins forever." From this passage we learn that God measures His anger in a way appropriate to each occasion. We, too, can learn how to control our anger and focus it so we do no harm.
