I never thought I will say this. The US capitol was attacked and overrun by an angry mob at the encouragement of the current president. President Trump, impeachment proceedings follows. However the apparent lack in leadership continues to be a problem 

We have gotten too comfortable with the Republic we have created over the last 240+ years and we seem to forget it wasn't a perfect road. Lots of trial by combat, division and strife but on the other side advancement and respected by both friend and foe. We ought not to lose that and calls like this is how we don't continue that journey. 

One of the reasons I started this was because I felt like we have no adults in  the room. We lacked leadership. I couldn’t quite point to our MLK or  George Washington. Yes it’s easy to idolize history but also we can see when something is off and I know I am not the only one who feels this way. 

The thing with 2020 is regardless of your race, gender, sexuality, religion, status, age. You were affected by COVID-19 either directly or indirectly.  And if we think about this as a society, how we are all in this together somehow. Maybe we can look past some of our differences and find strength in our shared pain. 

In this episode,  I discuss the outcome of the election and some ways we can move forward together. 

The problem with rushing through a justice goes beyond present politics and has potential to negatively impact American politics for years to come. It can undermine public trust and divide us further.

This week, we talked about some of the events going on society. The killing of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery. In light of this events. I also saw some good in our society. A desire for change followed by action not just dialogue. While we have a long way to go for racial equality. This is a start

In this episode. I talk about decisions made by different state governments to help keep people safe. 

Due to certain negligent behaviour in the meat packing industries. Communities were hurt by COVID and lives lost. It seem like a businesses were putting profit over people and this is a problem that should be addressed. 

In this episode I discuss the FED cutting interest rate in March and while I wasn't fully sure as to why it was being done. I suspected there was trouble and COVID became the trouble. I initially thought the economy was experiencing a slowdown and COVID made it bigger.
