Faith is the currency you give in exchange for heaven's blessings. Without faith, no man can please God, and without faith no one can receive anything from God. When you have an expectation or make a requested to God through prayer, the Lord checks for your faith.

Much like the widow of Zerephath, we are called to trust God with our resources and our lives.

Today we learn that Godly ambition is not about personal gain, but about living a life that honours God.

It is folly to compare yourself with others. Usually, when we compare ourselves to others, we compare their best features and natural gifts against our average ones.

"Spiritual growth depends on two things: first a willingness to live according to the Word of God; second, a willingness to take whatever consequences emerge as a result."

“Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate, and to humble”.

Pastor James describes the brevity of life as a “mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes” see James 4:14.??

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose - Romans 8:28

It doesn’t matter how much of a sinner we are, or how uneducated we claim to be, every human being knows there is a Creator God through nature.
