The HPGR can pay a key role in the finish grinding circuit. In the highly efficient dry grinding circuit, the HPGR replaces both the SAG and ball mill and eliminates all of the grinding media – and the CO2 emissions associated with manufacturing that grinding media.

By adding a HPGR to the pebble circuit, the crushed pebbles can be further reduced and sent directly to the ball mill. Now the pebble crushing circuit bypasses the SAG mill completely and restores balance to the grinding circuit.

The innovative design of the FLS Tower Mill (FTM) allows operators to quickly flush and drain the media out of the mill body in preparation for maintenance.
