Flowers For First Time Caregivers

Now that my Mom has passed away I want to share some tips and information I wish someone would have explained to me. In honor of my Mom I'm hoping this information helps other first-time caregivers.

After months of refusing to give her the IV treatment she needed and not doing an efficent job with her healthcare needs, she died.

I now know what true love is. Caregiving has taught me compassion and patience. Two things I struggled with when it came to my previous relationships. I understand now that to love is to show up and be there for someone else even if the circumstances are not ideal.

Not all medications are equal. Medications are so serious and dangerous that all Caregivers should make sure they understand what they're giving their loved ones.

Caring for a loved one can be extremely difficult. In this episode I want to discuss the importance of taking care of myself emotionally, spirituality, and physically during this journey.

One of the biggest lessons I took out of this experience of being the primary caregiver of my Mom is that every adult should have an Advance Directive filed with their doctor/designated hospital.

Time is of the essence after a person has a stroke. I had no idea what was happening to my Mom, but the hospital staff did. The first 24-hours are crucial to her mobility, memory, speech, and overall recovery.

While the EMT is there checking my Mo."s vital signs and strapping her to the gurney, a man is asking me personal questions about my Mom. Then he asked for her identification card.cars. Unknown to me at that time, he was getting her information to make sure we were billed even before getting her to a hospital.

I got off the plane on Saturday and was calling 911 on Monday morning. My Mom was having a stroke, and I had no idea that was happening.

We're wrapping up my ReSeller journey, including the good, bad, and the ugly for 2022. Inflation, shipping cost increases, and other industry changes.

So I thought Ebay and I were through but nooooo, I had to swallow my pride and go back. Thank goodness they knew I would be back. I'll discuss in this podcast what happened and why I'm grateful to be back on Ebay's selling platform.

Gross sales, cost of goods sold, shipping expenses, Fees etc. I use GoDaddy bookkeeping software to stay organized but I also have to pull reports from each platform to get my gross sales totals. We talk taxes today. What do you use?
