What I think it takes to make it a really great first date.

I describe my yummy feelings and energy of a new crush! Heady like a drug. Losing all logic. Feeling silly. ALL the fun!

Yes, I have decided to be single again....here we go....my first date adventures...."dear diary" episodes to follow. Stay tuned. I'm excited. 

Confidence is key. But the superficial gets you your chance. How you present yourself. Clothing often matters. Body language. A smile....Someone has to like what they see first so you get the chance to share who you are.

The beginning of a new relationship can be terrifying. Our fears make us act out and do stupid stuff to test the other human. The answer = true vulnerability and some blatant truth. First to ourselves.

I talk about how you can assume you know someone, never having asked the tough questions. And for people going on first dates, get that chip off your shoulder. 

I tell a story of a super negative experience this week. Why do people lash out at strangers? Again, hurt people hurting people, I guess. Does it make them feel better? Make sure you aren't one of these people.

Figure out your insecurities and what your addictions are and try to heal them. Work on loving yourself more and not always seeking external validation.

Ouch! How to handle the blow to your ego....

We must remember in relationships that actions speak louder than words. People can tell you who they WANT to be with you, but how they treat you on a daily basis is the key. Pay attention. 

But keep trying. Do it better. More effectively. And also try more to meet in the wild! It's a numbers game. Be your own matchmaker. And don't wear an ugly sweater on a date! :)

Courage to do the deep dive to build your confidence. Examining your past so you can move forward in a more healthy way. Shifting your energy so you can draw more to you.

Limiting beliefs. Narrow minded views.  Your attitude around dating needs to be more positive.
