FlickSmacks: S3-Ep7 ft. Zack Snyder's Justice League Vs Joss Whedon's Justice League 30.03.2021

This is a very special episode and their longest to boot. Terry & Scott have a look at the 4 hour epic, Zack Snyder's Justice League while comparing the differences between the 2017 release. For obvious reasons, their Top 5 lists feature their favourite DC films. And enjoy not one, but two rants from Scott about a couple of movies he strongly dislikes.

FlickSmacks: S3-Ep5 ft. Subspecies / The Lords Of Salem 16.03.2021

It's time for another double-dip episode. This outing features both 1991's Subspecies and 2012's The Lords Of Salem. There's no direct line from these movies to Scott & Terry's Top 5, but they list off their favourite Josh Brolin flicks.

FlickSmacks: S3-Ep4 ft. Grandma's Boy 23.02.2021

This week's episode may be the most contentious so far, Scott & Terry are on totally different sides of the spectrum for this film, Grandma's Boy. At time of recording, the Super Bowl was to take place the next day so the Top 5 features their favourite football flicks.

FlickSmacks: S3-Ep3 ft. Gretel & Hansel 16.02.2021

Hansel is so hot right now and that's why Terry & Scott have decided to partake in the viewing of the 2020 fairy tale horror, Gretel & Hansel. And for some reason the Top 5 this episode consists of their favourite Stephen King adaptations. For that reason, you'll have to listen to the podcast.

FlickSmacks: S3-Ep1 ft. The Happening 19.01.2021

New Year, New Season, New Episode! They're back. It's all happening for Terry and Scott which is a coincidence since they're breaking down M. Night Shyamalan's The Happening. The popular segment "What Are You Drinking?" returns as well as the introduction of a new segment, FlickSmacks Mailbag. And finally the discussion swerves directly into their favourite Mark Wahlberg films in this episode's fe...

FlickSmacks: S2-Ep19 ft. Borat Subsequent Moviefilm / Turbo Kid 10.11.2020

Two, two, two flicks in one! Special treat this episode as Scott and Terry have a look at two movies: Borat Subsequent Moviefilm and a destined to be cult classic, Turbo Kid. It's an f'd up double feature. Favourite mockumentaries is the Top 5 topic this week.

FlickSmacks: S2-Ep18 ft. Shoot 'Em Up 13.10.2020

Terry and Scott revisit a film they have both previously watched (many times for Scott), but it is so over the top bonkers that it's worth discussing. Due to the lack of imagination, Top 5 is their favourite films from 2007.

FlickSmacks: S2-Ep17 ft. The Babysitter: Killer Queen 15.09.2020

Terry and Scott discuss the newly released sequel to a Netflix original, The Babysitter: Killer Queen. The fun and gory film to discussed as well as some weird tangents. This week's Top 5 is favourite direct horror sequels.

FlickSmacks: S2-Ep16 ft. We Summon The Darkness 01.09.2020

Johnny Knoxville gets high-billing and low scene time in this disappointing attempt of a teen horror comedy titled We Summon The Darkness. Due the subject matter of cults and rituals, Scott and Terry's Top 5 reflect this genre.

FlickSmacks: S2-Ep15 ft. Odd Thomas 26.08.2020

Scott and Terry partake in the viewing of the adaptation of the Dean Koontz supernatural thriller, Odd Thomas starring the late, great Anton Yelchin. Favourite Willem Dafoe flicks are featured in this week's Top 5.

FlickSmacks: S2-Ep13 ft. Friday The 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan 11.08.2020

You may have wondered whether or not Terry and Scott will ever review the 7th sequel of a series. Wonder no more. It's here, Part 8 of the infamous Jason Voorhees franchise. Dually inspired by Jason's mask and the return of sports, they chose favourite hockey flicks for their Top 5.

FlickSmacks: S2-Ep12 ft. The Day The Earth Stood Still (2008) 04.08.2020

This week, Scott & Terry tackle The Day The Earth Stood Still, the 2008 remake, unfortunately not the original 1951 classic. They keep the ball rolling with their Top 5 Keanu Reeves films.

FlickSmacks: S2-Ep11 ft. Splinter 29.07.2020

Another week, another solid film. Terry and Scott take a look a the low-budget, criminally unseen, practical effects laden horror flick, Splinter. Strong performances, clever script and impressive gore effects abound. Top 5 features our favourite body parasite films.

FlickSmacks: S2-Ep10 ft. The Ninth Configuration 21.07.2020

They did it! They found the gem for which they've been searching. Complex and beautifully acted psychological thriller/comedy. A pleasure to watch. This episode features top 5 movies set in or around an asylum.

FlickSmacks: S2-Ep9 ft. I, Frankenstein 14.07.2020

Scott and Terry like to tackle bad movies that are at least fun. I, Frankenstein is half of the previously statement. It's just a bad movie. It tackles the age old mythos connected to Frankenstein's monster, demons vs. gargoyles. You know, that ol' chestnut. This film could not inspire a Top 5 list beyond fave films of 2014. Please try and enjoy this episode more than they did the movie.

FlickSmacks: S2-Ep8 ft. Silent Rage 10.07.2020

Based on many shout-outs of praise for this Chuck Norris slasher found on various chat groups, Terry and Scott thought they'd give Silent Rage a whirl. It did not live up to the hype, sorry to disappoint. This episode's Top 5 is favourite films with genetic mutation/enhancement. Enjoy.

FlickSmacks: S2-Ep7 ft. Come To Daddy 23.06.2020

They've got a weird one for you this time around; the Elijah Wood starring vehicle, Come To Daddy. Bewilderment ensues. After a long deliberation, Terry And Scott finally settled on time travel / time loop thrillers for their Top 5. Terry ensures that this episode is delightful.

FlickSmacks: S2-Ep6 ft. UHF 17.06.2020

Terry and Scott return with another revisited movie. The 1989 "Weird Al" comedy classic, UHF. Not much of a plot to the film, but the guys have fun discussing all of the parodies and the UHF channel 62 exclusive shows. The Top 5 was decided upon last minute and it's just simply, the Top 5 movies of 1989. Thanks for listening, enjoy.

FlickSmacks: S2-Ep5 ft. Begotten 10.06.2020

FlickSmacks is still in bewilderment from this week's film, Begotten. Scott takes sole responsibility for this selection. What a treat. At least they did not suffer alone as they we joined by their friend Rex/Sooty. This is a bizarre movie, and an equally bizarre episode. Enjoy!

FlickSmacks: S2-Ep4 ft. They Live 02.06.2020

Two firsts in one episode. This is the first time Terry & Scott had both previously seen the movie (and probably more than once).  And more excitingly, they were joined by their first guest. S&T are joined for the review of They Live with their friend and fellow film-buff, Casey. Due to this episode's film, the obvious Top 5 is John Carpenter faves.
