"Nothing seems to be happening." "It feels like the same thing day after day." "I can't seem to move forward." "I feel like I'm in a rut." Ever make any statements like these? It happens to all of us from time to time. We can't seem to get any traction. Things aren't necessarily bad, but they're not getting any better either. We feel like we repeat the same routine day after day. We just feel...we...

WHY ARE THERE SO MANY DIFFERENT CHRISTIAN CHURCHES? // WEDNESDAY NIGHT UNSCRIPTED //  // September 30, 2020 // Driving down the road, many of us pass multiple church buildings with differnt names, symbols and building styles. These churches have their own identities, worship styles, beliefs on baptism and communion among a host of many other things. So why are there so many different churches...

IS GOD INCONSISTENT WITH CONSEQUENCES AND FREE WILL? // WEDNESDAY NIGHT UNSCRIPTED//  September 23, 2020 // Tonight we're answering two FAQ's: 1. Why did God wait so long to give consequences (like the 150 years in between Isaiah's prophecy for destruction and Babylon's actual destruction of Israel) and 2. If there is free will, why are people "redirected" in the Bible to do as the Lord says...

Is it over when it's over? Is there anything else after this?" We often find ourselves wondering what happens when we die, if anything happens at all. In this lesson from our FAQ's series, we celebrate the promise of Jesus that the end of me is not really the end of me. ---------------- 00:00 Welcome / Prayer 03:31 “Heaven Is in My Heart” 04:47 “Victory Chant” 06:56 “On Zion’s Glorious Summit” 10:...

HOW CAN I KNOW THAT I AM GOING TO HEAVEN? // WEDNESDAY NIGHT UNSCRIPTED // September 16, 2020 // When asked the point-blank question "If you died today, would you go to heaven?" many Christians feel a sense of doubt and unease. We know we haven't lived up to God's expectations, continue to fail Him, and aren't sure if our "good-things" outnumber the "bad-things". Is there a way that we can know? /...

In one of Jesus' last conversations with His disciples he said the alarming statement: "In this world you WILL have trouble." (John 16) In this life it looks like pain is certain, so how can we balance an ultimately good God with the messed up world around us? And how can wrestling with this question and Biblical Lament bring peace and hope into our lives in a way it hasn't been before? ----------...

WHY ARE THERE SO MANY CHRISTIAN CHURCHES (PT. 2) // Wednesday Night Unscripted // October 7, 2020 // In Pt. 2 of our "Why are there so many different Christian Churches?" question, Marshall and Brandon talk about the things that divide Christian churches. They cover things like the "Non-negotiable and Negotiables" for Christian beliefs, what the main goal should be within the church, and how to lo...

WHY DOESN'T GOD ANSWER MY PRAYERS? // WEDNESDAY NIGHT UNSCRIPTED //September 2, 2020 // Last week Marshall and Brandon walked us through the theological looks of prayer: If God knows everything already, and humans have free will, what is the point of praying? Do our prayers make a difference? DO our prayers do ANYTHING? THIS WEEK, we're looking at the practical side of things: I know that God hear...

At some point most, if not all, of us have had to deal with some questions about our faith. Sometimes it's a question that we ourselves are wrestling with; sometimes it's a question that someone asks us and we struggle with knowing exactly how to answer. For the next several weeks at Flagstone, we are going to attempt to answer some of the questions both Christians and non-Christians have about Go...

DO OUR PRAYERS ACTUALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE? // WEDNESDAY NIGHT UNSCRIPTED // August 26, 2020 // Prayer is at the CORE of our relationship with God. I's how we can communicate our thanks, our grief, sorrow, wants and needs, pleas and praise. But if God is truly sovereign; truly all-knowing... is there a place for prayer and man's free will? // In this episode of Unscripted, Marshall and Brandon take...

ASKING QUESTIONS // Wednesday Night Unscripted // August 12, 2020 // With our new FAQs series starting this coming Sunday, Marshall takes some time tonight to talk about why it's important to ask questions about our faith, why truth matters in our culture today (or at least it should!) and what a conversation Jesus had with a random stranger has to do with our pursuit of what's real in this world.

Isaiah was a prophet who lived hundreds of years ago, but his messages are still as relevant today as they were when he first spoke them. Join us for the next few Sundays as we let Isaiah remind us that even today God still rescues us, forgives us, and gives us a brand new start.

HESITATION TO SHARING THE GOSPEL PT. 2 // Wednesday Night Unscripted // August 5, 2020 // In a continuation of last week's Unscripted, Marshall and Brandon work through a few more reasons that we as Christians hestitate in sharing the life changing news of the Gospel with others. From fear and shame to feeling like we don't know enough, or (honestly) care enough, there are plenty of reasons to jus...

HESITATION TO SHARING THE GOSPEL PT. 1 // WEDNESDAY NIGHT UNSCRIPTED // July 29, 2020 // When you have a job there are always goals to keep in mind and a certain job that must be done. Whether it's button pushing or manual labor or conference calls we all know the job and execute it accordingly. As Christians we too have a job: to 1. Love God and Love Others (Matthew 22:36-40) and 2. Go and share...
