I've had a hard few days with 'the old black dog' and really had to dig deep to get here today. I knew it would be worth it. I did rush and came with no agenda, along with the thought I could always go home. With the conditions looking far better this week, I was hoping for a repeat of last week.

After grappling with challenging gardening conditions over the past couple of days, Wednesday seemed poised to be utterly unfavorable for gardening but exceptionally promising for fishing. A massive weather front was on the horizon, with rain anticipated to arrive around 0930. My goal was to have everything set up and all the rods in position before the rain commenced.

The family was off doing various stuff with friends and family, so I was free to get out for 4 nights. At the beginning of the week, it didn't look brilliant on the weather front at all, but it all started to change and was soon looking pukka.

It's back to looking more like summer this week, the wind is from the North West and hopefully, keep that temperature down.
