It's planes, trains and automobiles season for Patrick as he goes from a great week in New Orleans to a challenging week in Dallas and on to Myrtle Beach. Patrick makes the cut and has a good weekend at the Corales Puntacana Championship in the Dominican Republic for his best finish so far on the PGA Tour. Presented by Goldenwest Credit Union.

Patrick made his first PGA Tour cut at the Puerto Rico Open with four rounds in the red as he rings up his first FedEx Cup points and cashes his first check. Presented by Goldenwest Credit Union. 

Patrick played solid at the Cognizant... for 35 holes. That other hole was brutal, though. Ask Rory how hard it is to not try to hit it out of the water. Patrick gets his second start at the storied Torrey Pines in the Farmers Insurance Open. The South Course at Torrey is the longest the Tour will see all year, and the rough was deep and wet. Patrick missed the cut, but got some needed reps. Presented by Goldenwest Credit Union. 

Fish is off and running as he gets into the AmEx for his first PGA Tour start. Though he missed the cut, he posts two rounds in the 60s and gets three rounds under his belt because the cut is after 54 holes. Presented by Goldenwest Credit Union.

Finish in the top 25 on the Korn Ferry Tour... throw your hat in the air... get your PGA Tour card... play in PGA Tour events. Simple, right? Maybe not so fast. There is a hierarchy of status on the Tour and rookies are not at the top. Patrick went from being in the Sony, to being 5th alternate, to being 1st alternate, to going home without playing. This is that story. He'll start his PGA Tour car...
