Jonathan Earl is the new police chief in Monroeville. He spent nearly 20 years in the police department in Whitehall before coming to Monroeville. He also served in the U.S. Coast Guard.

Gary Lyons recently announced his retirement after close to 50 years of service in law enforcement, which included his last stop in Monroeville.

Dawn Allen recently announced her retirement from the Sandusky Police Department after 22 years there. She was the first female lieutenant in Sandusky PD history and first female patrol commander there as well.

Jared Oliver is Sandusky's 17th police chief in its history. Oliver, who began his law enforcement career in 1997, is a friend of the radio station.

Scott Dahlgren is the police chief in Norwalk after being named to the top job last November. He's been with the department for over 16 years now. Norwalk is hosting their first annual National Night Out event on August 6th; an event to help strengthen police and community relations.

Our Marblehead Soap Company First Responder of the Week is Curt Cochran from the Port Clinton Police Department. Curt was recently named the 2024 Kiwanis Club Police Officer of the Year. He's a five-year veteran of the Port Clinton PD and a school resource officer.

Erie County Sheriff Paul Sigsworth was nominated because of being a great leader, hard worker and an excellent representation of law enforcement in the area. Paul takes home a Marblehead Soap Company gift card!
