First Discipleship

This is a series of episodes examining the critique of the 21st Century American Church by skeptics and critics of Western Christianity. I am attempting to frame a logical construct to understand the progression of American history to the emergence of Mainstream Christianity in 2023.

Does Galatians 3:28 support non-binary gender?   "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus". No, it does not, Galatians 3:28 is saying there is no difference in the eyes of Jesus Christ, all come through Him to get to the Father.

Passover and Communion, is there a difference?

This episode is the summation of Junipero Serra. After 9 episodes, this summation is of the "Official Story" of history but I like to read between the lines and expose the sin to forgive the sin.

Junipero Serra, the benevolent saint, and evangelist to lost Alta California pagan Indians, or the puppet of the Spanish crown and Catholic church doing the bidding or the catalyst to colonialism and or imperialism for a geopolitical race of land acquisition and natural resources? The results speak for themselves in mathematical fashion in death tolls and cruelty in the name of God. Uncovering the...

Expose the sin to forgive the sin. As a Christian Native American, the difficulties to deal with Christianity and the sad and controversial truths that are associated with the failed Spanish Catholic Church Alta California Missions system, faith, and forgiveness must play a large role in understanding the torn feeling and social results of the continuing stages of recovery California Indians. We c...

Inquisitions, Junipero Serra, Colegio Apostólico, how much do we know about the conditioning of the mindset and preparation to enter Alta California of the Franciscan Friars led by Junipero Serra to build the Mission system?

Introduction to Junípero Serra, Alta California Mission system, early inquisitions, Jesuits, Franciscans, Papal Bull, and much more to open episode 6 in the next step in a topical approach of California Native Indians.

Continuing with the second part of Cabrillo, the Catalina Islands, Chumash, and Tongva California Native American Indians.  Cabrillo visiting the California Channel Islands. Native way of life and the way they connected with the land. William Wrigley Jr. and the development of Catalina Island.

Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo, encountering Natives of now modern-day San Diego Bay. This episode does light chronicling of Cabrillo and his journey from El Salvador. This episode is a stepping stone to the 1500s age of Spanish exploration and Alta California Natives.

In this episode, I give facts and reasons for dialoguing secular and theological debate and thinking for Native American origins from the Judeo-Christian worldview and some secular scientific worldviews. Did Natives evolve and migrate to the North American continent or are we lesser people on the evolutionary ladder and gave way to racial devaluing? Is scientific theory a fact or just a convenient...

Progressing in this podcast towards Biblical explanations for Native American origins along with everyone else's origins, because Native Americans were not always in North America, read Genesis 9 and 11 for the explanation.

An unscripted message of "carnal Christians"  lukewarm or a Biblical Christian, identify where you are at in scripture. Coming from a cultural journey to faith in the God of the Bible, what kind of church am I in? Listen and find out.

This is a series dealing with a sore subject of American history, the church, and Native Americans. Touching the surface in this intro will help some understand why we do not have highly active outreaches and evangelism to Native communities.

Last Supper or Passover, Resurrection or Easter? Historically and Biblically, we know the answers but decide to follow culture and tradition.  It boils down to Jesus Christ, knowing Jesus by scripture and in faith. There will be false messiahs in the end times, do we know Jesus by culture or by the Bible? Many will be led astray,  know Jesus and we will endure to the end.

Tackling the tough questions of Easter vs. Passover, it's not that tough when you find the truth in scripture and world history. Facts are essential not traditions of men. Replacement theology is at the very core of antisemitism and the rest follows. This is a topical podcast, each subject that I raise can be a podcast all by itself. Do your research and fact-check me, God bless.

How do we as Christians deal with anger and frustration, from severe to mild, God has given us more than we need to overcome anger and many other things that life throws at us. Listen in for some tools to help you heal and recover.

Why did God give humans free will to choose between God and this world system, the Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of darkness? Listen while I break this down with scripture, make up your own mind by reading God's Word.

This podcast deals with the belief in "Once saved always saved" when Christians believe that they can live any way they want without the consequence of sinful living and of God's judgment of losing one's salvation and eternal life.

Happy New Year 2022, This podcast is dedicated to the building of First Discipleship in a nutshell, sharing near goals and long-term goals. I made this podcast so you can become more familiar with what we are endeavoring in the Lord to expand the Kingdom of God, God bless

This episode is part 1 with a guest that is new to doing podcast but very interested of  being onboard, we cover etymology of God and give our views to what that means and what God means to us and possibly how you view God.

I was invited to preach at a tent meeting in a revival of the Native community I am from. It is the first time that I preached in nearly three years publicly. I was very blessed by the hard work of the hosts and there love for God, bless them. Made friendships and the experience was fruitful, thank you Jesus.

This first episode of First Discipleship "Christian Talk" is an introduction to who and what we are as a Church, our goals and vision as a brand new Church starting from scratch. Stay tuned for unique discussions on many Biblical related topics.
