When is my walk with God not work, but play? Life Application: Begin to play by stopping work and practicing Sabbath.

The goodness in the good life is doing it in Christ and with others. Life Application: How many times do you say, "Thank you" in a given week? Aim to fill your life with more gratitude this week.

Truth can be felt at a cosmic and particular level in Jesus. Are you living your life by your personal truth, or the truth defined by God? Life Application: Pray the following daily, "Lord, help me today to experience the beauty and goodness of your truth."

Beauty is a portal for us to experience and connect with God. Where do you most experience God's beauty? Life Application: Where and how can you experience the beauty of Christ this week?

Smaller versions of the Gospel make it more about us than about God.  Life Application: If Jesus sounds dull, boring, or bad then we have settled for less. What can you do this week to experience and embrace your role in the exciting story God has for each of us?

How can you exemplify goodness, beauty, and truth in your life? Life Application: How can you show God's love in a tangible way to someone this week?

Our 2020 goal at First Church is to connect with 500 new people - how can you help us make those connections? Life Application: Look for places where you see God's goodness, and track it in a journal using the phrase, "and it was very good," from Genesis 1:31.

What surprises you about the birth of Jesus? Have you welcomed the gift of Jesus into your heart and life?   Life Application: Try seeing the world with the perspective of a child to be in wonder of God again.

What do you need to do to find the hope that Jesus offers? Have you invited Jesus into your heart and life?  Life Application: Make time this week to connect with Jesus See and walk the Way of Christ (Isaiah 35:8-10)

Life Application: How can you act as a steward to bring healing to God's creation?  Action Point: Pray the Lord’s Prayer every day this week. Pause when you get to “thy kingdom come.  Thy will be done.”  Pray for ways that you can partner with God to bring God’s kingdom and will to all creation.

Life Application: Which gift of the light of Christ do you need to receive and embrace? Today's world is hurting. Poverty, anxiety, sickness, debt, addiction, and darkness make people yearn for healing and hope. You can take comfort despite your circumstances because of where you place your hope: in the eternity of the Living God. Life Application: Where are you putting your hope? How can you provide Christ's hope and comfort to those around you this week?
