Church, God’s community, is a source of goodness.

Church, God’s community, is the source of comfort. God’s comfort extends way beyond the physical realm. It touches our soul. When we receive God’s comfort in our own lives and brokenness, we are called to also share that comfort with others through our brokenness. 

Church, God’s community, is the source of grace. God’s community called the church is designed to share this wonderful and offensive grace in equal portion with everyone through Jesus.

Church, God’s community, is the source of identity. We discover our true identity as citizens in the Kingdom of God when we receive God’s validation of love and grace offered to us in Jesus Christ and then we live our lives in response to that love through practices and virtues that reflect that Kingdom.

Church, God’s community, is the source of purpose. When we delight ourselves in the Lord by pursuing God’s desires over our own desires, we discover our full human purpose, passion, and identity.

Church, God’s community, is the source of play. How can we engage with God in ways that we didn't think was allowed, or perhaps we forgot how to do.

Secure in God’s love (hesed), the church loves others through unity in diversity.

Church is the source of true community.

When we share lives of Resurrection power in Jesus, in the intersections of our culture for the healing and betterment of others, we invite renewal for a missional movement.

When we focus on discovering an abundance of discipleship by patterning our lives after the teachings of Jesus rather than the teachings of our culture, we discover God bringing renewal in ourselves and God’s church.

When we renew our lives, we reject a consumeristic lifestyle by accepting responsibility and making sacrifices.

We are called to be Living stones who offer a non-anxious presence that brings peace and renewal.

When we renew our lives, we can see hardships as opportunities to cling to God and deepen our trust in Him.

When we renew our lives, we can shift our perspective from focusing on our discontentment, to focusing on new possibilities.

Good news! We can live this rich, real life because of Jesus' resurrection.

Real life involves obedience; we are to remain faithful to God no matter where we are called.

Real life involves highs, lows, and the mundane of the everyday; we can glorify Him in all these moments.

Real life involves humility and reverse power politics; we can stand in humble power knowing the cross is a symbol of life, not death.

Real life involves feeling different; we can use our differences to share love in our contexts.

Real life involves unexpected encounters; we can use those moments to offer healing through love and encouragement.

Real people need to repent to receive the good news of Jesus.

Embracing a Christian worldview means I have hope that God's goodness prevails.

Embracing a Christian worldview means I pursue community as an essential part of the Church and my faith.

Embracing a Christian worldview means I understand the Holy Spirit's identity and role in my life.

Embracing a Christian worldview means I realize the opportunity to offer grace out of my own need for grace from Jesus.
