It can feel like we’re a people living in darkness. Cynicism. Numbness. No motivation. Brain fog. Coping in unhealthy ways. Anger and frustration reigning in our hearts. Maybe you resonate with some of that. Well, today we're going to see what Jesus’ message was and is to people who are on the verge of burnout, to people who feel like they are living in darkness.

When you surrender to Jesus, you are born again and adopted into God's family. From then on, your Heavenly Father goes about a process of re-parenting you.

The devil wants to do battle with you and the field he’ll often wage war on is your identity. He wants to make you doubt who you are and tempt you to live out of that doubt.

In order to battle against the devil, you must keep an eternal perspective.

There is a war waging right now but many don’t realize it’s going on which makes them easy targets to take out.

There is an identity crisis of humankind that is impacting Christians and non-Christians alike. In today’s passage, we’re going to discover the sentence that you (and everyone else) deeply desire to hear. One that will free you from the identity crisis of humankind.
