God calls us "to move mountains." Today we are going to see how we can do that when we obey by faith and what it looks like when God uses us to do that.

Do you believe that God will take care of you if you obey in a situation that might be life threatening? The question is not - are you courageous enough - but do you believe God is great enough to take care of you?

Some things aren't meant to last. But some things are - and faith is one of them, as we will see today from the 11th chapter of Hebrews.

You take many different kinds of test when you are in school. Today in the book of Hebrews we are going to see that God gives test to His children, and they are all practical.

God is going to talk to us today from the book of Hebrews about our mindset. God's promises are our landmarks. We need to keep in mind where we are heading.

In cooking, not following the recipe, just skimming the details, can be catastrophic. The same is true in Christianity. God has not skimped on the detailed instructions-especially the critically important areas of the Christian life, like faith.

Do you know who the first weatherman was? God was the first one to forecast the weather.

People take a"blind leap of faith" for many different things. As we come to Hebrews today, we are going to take a look at the concept of faith.

Do you listen to warnings? Do you learn from history? I hope so, because we are going to study what might just be God's most severe warning in the entire Bible.

The unfortunate truth is that some parents see parenting as drudgery, not a privilege. In Hebrews 10, we are going to learn about a privilege that sometimes looks like drudgery-but in reality is one of the most meaningful aspects of the Christian life.

A man and wife make and accept promises to each other. God has also made promises to you, and He asks you to accept these promises by a confession and an agreement with Him based on faith in the saving blood of Jesus Christ.

I was allowed to sit in one of the Luxury Boxes at a Mariner's game the other day. That was a real privilege. But we are going to read about a greater privilege today in Hebrews 10.

I had to go to traffic court once. I pled "guilty but deseving of leniency" and got the fine cut in half. I am sure some of you have been there also. The great news of Hebrews 10 is that God has done more than cut our fine in half.

We are so blessed to be living in this country which by and large is stable and prosperous. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed with my privileged position as an American. Hebrews 9 makes me feel the same way about my spiritual position.

In Hebrews 9, we are going to be told a tale of rejection AND acceptance. It's one of those good news/bad news stories, but this one ends on good news.

A change of mind is often good, but hard to come by for most of us. In Hebrews 8, we are going to learn of a wonderful change that is hard for the folks that first heard the news - and is still hard for some people today.

As we continue to learn abut Jesus as our High Priest, we are going to learn today that Jesus is always looking out for us - He is our eternal lifeguard.

The book of Hebrews is helping us get intimately acquainted with the person of Jesus. Today, we are going to learn something in detail many Chistians may not be very familiar with concerning Jesus as our priest.

In Hebrews 6, God is going to help us learn how to be "long haul Christians." He is going to show us what is required for us to "keep on truckin'" for our whole Christian life.

Hebrews 6 seems to be sent to those who are trusting in others to get them to their destination.

God's Word speaks of a "fire" under which Christians may find themselves-one coming from their ally-God Himself. But this fire is not an accident.

The Christian life, which is sometimes described by God as a race, requires a good start. We are going to learn today that you must get out of the starting blocks of Christianity and run the whole race.

Today we are going to see the report card of some Christians who got an "F" in Bible class. And through God's rebuke of them, we are going to examine some common excuses that Christian's offer for their spiritual immaturity.

Today we will hear God add a positive reason to cling to Jesus alone and in that reason He will further develop a broad topic started earlier in the book.

Unbelievers see us as having a special connection to God. In Hebrews today we are going to learn more about Jesus' work as our Great High Priest.
