God made a covenant with Abram, and part of that is that, through him, all the world would be blessed. Today, we take a closer look at that covenant and what that means for us today.

Change is inevitable. But it can be something we fear or something we embrace. But either way, it will happen. We need to learn to embrace change, trusting God knows what He is doing.

As Pastor Dave looks back on his years of ministry here and other places and as he looks forward to his new ministry with the Baptist Network Northwest, we look at some of the passages of scripture that have helped him, and can help us, grow in faith.

We look today at the book of Revelation and see some of the anthems that proclaim God's worthiness, and that He is a just judge. God is only loving to the extent that He is just.

Faith-growing prayer is based in a genuine knowledge of God, voiced within the boundaries of His priorities, and based within the realization that only He can help.

Faith grows as we act on the Word of God. So, the first part of that is to realize that we have access to that power through the Word of God, the Bible.

The last five verses of I Thessalonians 4 are a comfort to believers as we look forward to the return of Christ.

God wants us to take our worship in the Lord's Supper seriously, that's why He gave us I Corinthians 11:23-34.

When we do a project, we always look forward to the completion. After the cross, Jesus got to the good part of His project.

We don't usually make a point of going somewhere when we know it is going to be unpleasant. Unless we know there is going to be a benefit afterwards. This is true of when Christ was approaching the cross.

In Matthew 5, it says we are to love others as we love ourselves. That means with the same intensity that we love ourselves and care for ourselves, we are to care for others.

The people at the First Baptist Church of Corinth had some real problems at their church dinners. The behavior before the Lord's Supper ruined the worship they gave at the Lord's Supper.

We take a closer look at the familiar story of when Jesus calms the storm on the Sea of Galilee and see some of the details we often miss.

Today we look at a section of Scripture that is difficult to understand. We try to see shat Paul was saying to the Corinthians then, and how to apply it today.

Greatness is in the eye of the beholder. Today, we look at what it takes to be great in Christ.

Celebrating the Lord's Supper can be joyful. Today we look at the different ways that we can have joy while participating.

We must choose our actions very carefully if we want to avoid damaging our (spiritual) life.

As we read in Philippians 2, if we are a Christian, we are to have the mind of Christ and be content with what we have. And part of that is to do all things without grumbling or complaining, which is being selfish.

As Christians, we need to realize that both trials and temptations are a normal part of our lives. But we cannot blame our responses on some unavoidable force. What we need to do is realize that God is still in control.

It's natural to see things from a perspective that allows you to do what you want to do, but mature choices are made when the whole picture is considered.
