In this sermon from John 7:40-52, Pastor Matt shows how the crowds responded to Jesus's invitation to come to Him for living water. What we see is that the identity, teaching, and authority of Christ are all sources of division, particularly between believers and unbelievers. 

We had the privilege of hosting Dr. James White, of Alpha and Omega Ministries, on April 2, 2025. Dr. White taught on the dual nature of Christ, known theologically as the hypostatic union. We hope you'll listen in and be encouraged by this teaching on the divinity and humanity of Jesus Christ.

In this sermon from John 7:14-24, Pastor Matt walks us through the opening exchange between Jesus and the crowds in the temple at the Feast of Booths. In particular, we see how the crowds judging Jesus by outward appearances and not with right judgment applies to us today. 

In this sermon from John 7:1-13, Pastor Matt encourages us to believe that is the Christ as He is the fulfillment of what is celebrated at the Feast of Booths. We can and should believe in Christ in spite of the unbelief of Jesus's brothers, the Jewish authorities, and the Jewish people. 

Pastor Matt takes a break from John, preaching from Matthew 6:5-15 on prayer. Specifically, we look at what Jesus says not to do and  then walk through the ACTS Prayer model from the Lord's Prayer and other Scriptures. 

In this sermon from John 6:60-71, Pastor Matt walks us through the aftermath of the Bread of Life Discourse, which sees Jesus's disciples whittled down from 12,000 at the beginning of chapter 6 to only 12, arguably 11, by the end of the chapter. In this, we see three offensive aspects of the Gospel message and three responses to that message. 

In this sermon from John 6:35-59, Pastor Matt walks us through Jesus's Bread of Life discourse with particular emphasis on the New Covenant fulfillment of Old Covenant types of shadows that Jesus is alluding to throughout these verses. 

In this sermon from John 6:35-46, Pastor Matt walks us through God's sovereignty over the salvation of all those who believe in Christ. It is God's sovereignty that is the basis for the certainty of the believer's persevering in the faith unto final salvation.
