The mighty Marvel anti-hero Venom finally gets his own silver screen adventure. With Tom Hardy as the title character, expectations were high but the reviews have been less than stellar. The only thing to do is to see it for yourself and so we did.

October’s over but the RetroSPOOKtive continues and ends with the final two Chucky movies. First, it’s Curse of Chucky where the killer doll comes back to stalk a seemingly random family. Then it’s on to the insane asylum for a final showdown with a long-time enemy from the past!

October may be over but the RetroSPoOKtive continues with Seed of Chucky. This is quite possibly the most incoherent movie we’ve seen in a RetroSPOOKtive. Chucky’s son/daughter has been touring as a ventriloquist puppet when he/she sees that movie about his/her parents is being made so it’s off to Hollywood. And it just just weirder from there. No questions answered but plenty more asked!

After the critical and box office failure that was Child’s Play 3, it took 7 years before the world would be re-introduced to the killer Good Guy doll known as Chucky. But this time, he’s not alone. An old flame, Tiffany, finds the doll, repairs him, and reincarnates him. The two must travel across the country to dig up Chucky’s body to retrieve an amulet so they can transfer their souls into Kath...

As the tag line says, Look Who’s Stalking! Chucky is back yet again and this time, he’s tracked a grown up Andy to his military school. With every door never being locked, including the amory – Chucky has even more options for destruction. It’s just too bad he spends most of his time playing hide and seek.

Sorry, Jack., Chucky’s back. The evil Good Guy is back hunting down Andy in hopes to transfer his soul into a human. Andy is living in foster care and befriends a rebel teenager for help. It’s a race against the clock as Chucky’s soul is beginning to merge into his new body and a showdown in the Good Guy doll factory serves as the final battleground!

The Star Wars spin off movies continue with Solo. It’s the backstory of how Han became a space pirate, how he got his (apparently) infamous blaster, and even how he got his last name. His first meetings with Lando and Chewbacca also occur in this heist-style epic. Sean and Mark go in-depth about how this movie adds to the Star Wars mythos.
