Feeling Twisty

In this episode, I talk about how my daughter-in-law imagined used the power of imagination in nursing school. I also share what methods I use on a daily basis.

In the New Testament, Paul says, "I know how to be humbled. I also know how to abound. In anything and in all things, I have learned the secret both to be filled to satisfaction and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need." Phil. 4:12 He tells us the secret in the following verse. The great news is the power of which he speaks is within you, too. 

Neville Goddard said to persist in the assumption you are the person you want to be. I used to have a negative feeling of what it means to persist, until I decided it doesn't mean what I think it does. I first focused on using the Law of Assumption that Neville teaches as a means to an end, to get this or that. In today's episode I talk about how things naturally expanded from more understanding of the Law but also the Promise - the awakening of God within me. 

Some times, when I have a desire pop up, I start reasoning with myself. I start thinking "Yeah, that would be nice, but..." I challenge you to do what I did. Drop your buts! 

I noticed I would spend any waking moment reading Neville or listening to his lectures. If I wasn't doing that, I was searching Facebook for that one extra little bit of info I needed to finally be successful at manifesting the life I wanted. The cool thing is I already have that power within me. And so do you. 

You are the playwright of your life and YOU play all the parts. By the way, I didn't realize just how windy it was outside when I recorded this episode. I did a little editing to reduce the noise, though. 

I had a few minutes of anxiety today. In this episode I talk about how I would have treated those moments in times past, and how I reacted today. As always, I go to the First Principle - "Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10 "It is the Father's good pleasure to give you the desires of your heart." Luke 12:32 RSV  

Neville Goddard says, "To desire it is to have it." If you have a desire, that's God in you telling you it's yours. So, instead of worrying about what technique to use or how many affirmations you need to recite, why not make it easy. Just assume it's a done deal. Take it for granted that your desire is fulfilled. 

You don't need anyone outside of yourself to be the person you want to be. Rather than give away your power to circumstance, realize the "I Am," your own imagination, is where all the power rests. I came across a few mementos from my childhood last night. And I spent the last 24 hours going back, in imagination, reliving some wonderful times as a kid. I was making then, now and there, here, which is the same thing Neville Goddard talks about in his lectures. 

I talk about intentional imaginal acts and how we're actually imagining / assuming all day long. So, what are you imagining about yourself and your world? This one was fun. I managed to talk about President Donald Trump and orgasms in the same episode.

Motion can be detected by a change in position relative to an object. When I move to the state of the wish fulfilled and continue thinking from that state, then I can detect a change because the way I see the world and the way the world sees me is different than the view from my old state. 

I open with a little story about way under cooked chicken and my desire to have some yummy chicken salad. I also talk about how those in our little world see us as we first see ourselves. 

Make the bad good and the good better through revision. 

I've noticed that a couple things that show up in my breathing and body when I am unsuccessful at imagining a specific outcome.  I paraphrase the story of Isaac, Esau, and Jacob. You can find the story in Genesis 25.
