God's faithfulness to Israel is one of the primary witnesses to God's character in the Bible. In Romans 11, Paul unpacks this "mystery" and shows that God's commitment to His people goes farther than most would imagine.

God has displayed His love for fallen mankind in this: that while we were still His enemies, Christ came into the world, lived a sinless life, and bore our punishment on the cross so that we could be justified and brought into a relationship with Him. God offers this gift to us out of His love so that we would respond with love. He enables us to love others because He loved us first.

The Lord our God is Just, but He is also Patient. These two aspects of His character show us the core truth behind the attribute "slow to anger."

God's Grace is Him showing undeserved favor toward humanity through Jesus on the cross. But the Scriptures also show that Grace is much more than that. In this message we'll unpack how God's Grace saves us, empowers us, and elevates us to one day judge all of Creation with Him.

In the book of Hosea, we get a glimpse into the compassion of God, and his deep pathos. God is not unmoved by the actions or suffering of His people. He is stirred to action, even extreme action, because above all He desires a people filled with intimate knowledge of Himself and bursting with faithful love.

Paul's shipwreck on Malta is a deeply symbolic story of the Gospel. After an unwise decision that leaves everyone stuck in a raging storm, the only option becomes to give up control and run the ship aground. This relinquishing of control saves the lives of everyone on board & leads to the conversion of an entire people group!

Paul and Silas encounter a slave girl possessed by a spirit of divination, who is subsequently freed from the spirit by Paul, leading to their imprisonment by the girl's masters.
