Haggai 2:10-19 - “Be Clean” - What is the biggest reason the work was stopped? It was the unclearness of His people. Now, get clean and get going was His message. Scripture Reading: Psalm 15-17, Galatians 3

Haggai 2:1-9 - “Build My Temple” - In God’s second message to His people through Haggai, He tells the people to get to the task of rebuilding the Temple. Get it done, Scripture Reading: Psalm 12-14, Galatians 2

Haggai 1:12-15 - “Let’s Do This” - After a delay due to fear in the hearts of Israel, they are now ready to resume the work. Scripture Reading: Psalm 9-11, Galatians 1

Haggai 1:1-11 - “Not Enough” - Haggai comes to the people of Israel after the return under Cyrus. But they needed a push to finish their tasks. Scripture Reading: Psalm 6-8, 2 Corinthians 13

Zephaniah 3:14-20 - “Joy Comes Again” - When God restores, He brings delight and joy. Scripture Reading: Psalm 3-5, 2 Corinthians 12

Zephaniah 3:8-13 - “Restored to Sonship” - God has a blessed future for His people, Israel. Praise His Name. Scripture Reading: Job 42, Psalm 1-2, 2 Corinthians 11

Zephaniah 3:1-7 - “No Shame” - Year after year, prophet after prophet, God’s people rejected God’s calls. They were not ashamed of their sins. Scripture Reading: Job 39-41, 2 Corinthians 10

Zephaniah 2:4-15 - “Gentile Punishment” - The enemies of God can get away with their sins only so long. God will eventually, and in His timing,” judge all sin. Scripture Reading: Job 36-38, 2 Corinthians 9

Zephaniah 2:1-3 - “A Call to Repent” - Zephaniah’s call to repent would echo his contemporaries. And, the response would be the same. Scripture Reading: Job 33-35, 2 Corinthians 8

Habakkuk 3:16-19 - “Blessed be Your Name” - In good and not-so-good times, God’s name is to be praised. Scripture Reading: Job 24-26, 2 Corinthians 5

Habakkuk 3:1-15 - “Take a Backwards Look” - Habakkuk reviews some of what God has done in the past. Stop today to look back upon what God has done for you in your past. Scripture Reading: Job 21-23, 2 Corinthians 4

Habakkuk 2:9-20 “Woe is Me” - Habakkuk will express 5 woes upon certain people. Take note of who they are. Scripture Reading: Job 18-20, 2 Corinthians 3

Habakkuk 2:2-8 - “The Just One” - Three times in the New Testament, 2:4 is quoted. Think about how important that makes this verse. Scripture Reading: Job 15-17, 2 Corinthians 2

Habakkuk 1:12-2:1 - “God Uses the Unrighteousness” - Does that statement startle you? Consider how God has used even the unrighteous to punish the righteous. Scripture Reading: Job 12-14, 2 Corinthians 1

Habakkuk 1:1-11 - “Why, oh Why” - Many Bible writers ask this question, “Why does it seem the unrighteous are not punished?” Listen to God’s answer. Scripture Reading: Job 9-11, 1 Corinthians 16

Nahum 3:8-19 - “Folly leads to Fall” - False confidence in our own wisdom will lead us straight into the ditch. Scripture Reading: Job 6-8, 1 Corinthians 15

Nahum 2:1-13 - “The Doom Described” - God’s judgments are not always the same. Be sure to take note here how God’s judgment is described as a fire and a flood. Scripture Reading: Esther 10, Job 1-2, 1 Corinthians 13

Nahum 1:9-15 - “Good News” - Nahum will describe the fall of this longtime enemy of God’s people, and it brings good news. Scripture Reading: Esther 7-9, 1 Corinthians 12
