Jesus reveals to the grumbling crowds that salvation is of the Lord. All that the Father calls will come, and the Son will never cast them out, but will raise them up on the last day. 8-25-19

Jesus continues His dealings with the crowds. This time exposing their false faith, they have not profited  from the signs as they are more concerned about a free lunch. 8-18-19

The Disciples find themselves in a difficult spot. But our Lord uses it as an opportunity to teach them that He is  always: 1) Watching 2) In Control 3) Able 8-11-19

Jesus reveals His deity to the crowds, by miraculously multiplying loaves.  8-4-19

Part two in a study on the sacrifices of the Old Testament and how they find their fulfillment in the atoning death of the Lord Jesus Christ. 7-28-19

Diving deeper into the testimony of the New Testament, that the Old Testament points to Jesus, we trace a major theme in the OT, that of sacrifice, to see how it finds its perfect fulfillment in the work of Christ. 7-21-19

We build off of Jesus' words last weak in John 5 that central theme and scope of the Old Testament is the Lord Himself. 7-14-19

As Jesus responds to the charges brought against Him, He points out three witnesses given by the Father to attest to His identity. These witnesses are given not that man would stand as judge over Christ, but that we may come to true saving faith. 7-7-19

The Deity of our blessed Savior is expounded, as Jesus Himself begins to unpack for the Jews the perfect unity that He has  with His father. 6-30-19

Jesus encounters the Jewish leadership, so caught up in their law keeping they miss a miracle right before their eyes. As they charge Jesus with Sabbath breaking we seek to get to the truth of that claim. 6-23-19

Behold the power of the Lord Jesus and His word. We see a man desperate to be healed, hoping to find healing in a pool of water. Jesus, simply by a word, heals him in an instant.  And Jesus by His word, heals all sinners in an instant that turn to Him in true repentance and faith. 6-16-19

Jesus does His second "sign", according to John, after an initial rebuke the sign brings its intended result. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. What can we learn from this miracle of our Lord? John 4:46-54

We close the story of the Samaritan with the beginning of her new life. As she goes forth to tell others of Jesus, and a mini revival breaks out on the Samaritan plain. 6-2-19

In our passage today we learn that God the Father is seeking true worshipers, which are those who worship in spirit and truth. We seek to unpack what it means to worship in spirit and truth. 5-26-19

In the hard work of our sin being brought into the light we learn that Jesus does this in our lives, out of love. He exposes sin with the intention of delivering His people from bondage, and transforming them into His image. 5-19-19

Jesus tells His first disciples that He is Jacob's ladder. He is God's glorious access to heaven. 2-24-19

All people everywhere are thirsty. So often we drink form the broken cisterns that this world offers. Jesus offers a Samaritan woman living water that will well up in her to eternal life.  5-12-19

Jesus the master evangelist encounters a woman of Samaria.  He shows us that He is willing to go to places, people, and beyond barriers that others won't. As His church, commissioned and called under His authority, we should follow His example. 5-5-19

There is much hope that the Christian has laid up in Christ. John also gives a fearful warning for those that are unbelieving. 

While the cross of Christ looked like a total failure to many, it was actually God's perfect plan accomplished exactly as he had foretold it would. God through providence sent His Son to the cross, and God through providence works daily in our lives for His eternal glory, and for our good. 4-21-19

Man's chief end is to glorify God, and enjoy Him forever. We take a look at the ministry of John the Baptist, and learn how a life lived for the glory of God produces; gratitude, humility and joy. 4-14-2019

A glorious promise from the Apostle, salvation comes to all those who believe in the Son, but a string warning to all that have rejected His mercy. 4-7-19

John 3:16 takes us into the heart of the Gospel, as we see how the love of God seen clearly in the Gospel motivates Christians to face the ups and downs of life. 3-31-19

Jesus teaches a leading Pharisee that apart from the new birth, the powerful working of the Holy Spirit transforming the heart of a man, one cannot even see the kingdom of God. 3-24-19

Jesus is zealous for right worship. In today's text we see His first cleansing of the temple. And also how Jesus the true temple, has made the physical temple obsolete.  3-17-19
