Monday of the Second Week of Easter. Father Dave relates a beer commercial featuring actor Sylvester Stallone and boxer Canelo Alvarez to today's readings. In the commercial, Stallone encourages Alvarez to "be bold." Father Dave says that when it comes to our faith life, we should do the same. Tuesday of the Fourth Week of Lent. In today's readings, we hear about Ezekiel's dream of water flowing out of the temple, growing deeper and stronger as it flows along. First Sunday of Lent. In today's readings, we hear about the devil tempting two different people; Adam in the creation story, and Jesus in the desert.
