The guys talk about what they have been up to. Vance has some fishing trip experiences, Andy is busy building the new Fat A.Z. head quarters, and Todd has been fishing a little and spending time at home. The discussion then turns back to water temp and fishing, the guys have some theories. Mainly we revisit the water temp discussion again now that it's getting thrown around a lot of social media.

We left off last podcast talking about Vance going to Canada for a few days. Now that he returned he has a story to tell, photos to share, and Andy's baits to return. Steve joins us via speaker phone. We talk about some recent fishing trips, bait modifications, taking kids fishing, poke fun at each other. More or less a typical Gear Man Steve podcast.

We start off by picking up where we left off last week. We lead on that Vance's boat was not where it should be a week or so before the Cave Run PMTT. So we told the story of the issues leading up to Todd and Vance's departure. Then Todd and Vance give their PMTT story, like many boats that were in the tournament, there was opportunity, but sometimes its doesn't quite happen.

We talk about the PMTT, Todd and Vance will be leaving in a couple days to pre fish the tournament. Todd shares stories of PMTT past, the game of 1/4"s that has came to play more than once with fish caught, stories of travel to events, expectations... Andy and Vance share stories of waterfowl they encountered. We quickly hit on some whitetail hunting talk.

The guys talk about what they would do in a situation that was make believe from the very start. The topics they talk about in this show are, 1. What would you do if you had a world record musky in the net? 2. What boat would you have if money was not an issue?

We have Pete Anderson as a guest. He was interviewing the guys for a local newspaper article centered around the Podcast, baits, and guide service. When we turned the tables on him and had him get interviewed on this podcast. Pete is just getting into musky fishing, but is a accomplished bass fisherman. We chatted about similarities between the two species in fishing styles, boats, tournaments......
