Even the biggest and best of us sometimes run into trouble and Paul Bunyan is no exception.  But even as the good man who falls seven times a day and gets back up each time, Paul, with the help of his friends, finds a way through the tough times.

Now that Paul's Red River Camp is up and established, he and his lumberjacks begin the work of clearing North and South Dakota, turning those lands into the Great Plains we know today.

On the 4th Sunday of Advent we hear the story of the Visitation of St. Gabriel to a virgin named Mary who is to become the mother of Jesus.

Paul get his Midwestern lumber camp set up and starts in earnest logging in Minnesota.  

The story of the birth of John the Baptist

Paul goes deer hunting with some surprising results.  Later, he acquires a little blue ox calf from a farmer.  

Paul set off into Deacon Whites district to start his logging operation and meets up with the famed Seven Axmen.  

Now a full grown man, Paul returns to the town of his birth and is offered his first real job:  logging in the deep woods of Deacon White.  But first he has to clear the woods of fierce wild animals.

As Paul grows from infancy to boyhood, many challenges face his parents in raising such a large youngster.  We follow Paul as he becomes a young man discovering all his strengths and talents, and by the end of the chapter he meet the perfect girl.

In this episode we hear about Paul as a baby, and the troubles of raising a child who can outgrow a house overnight!
