FantHaasy Island

The islanders are BACK, along with Jmau5, to recap a turbulent couple weeks in the fantHaasy football universe and make the transfer of power official.  This episode is here to get you everybody ready for the playoffs?!?! and has that shaken, post-trauma sizzle.

Moez "Daddy" Poonja makes his first island appearance as an actual daddy, as he joins the MPD in a valiant--and only minimally successful--effort to make this episode about anything than the OutrageHaas (mis)Fortune.  This one's got the ultra-rare (and deeply  improbable) Taysom-Hill-takes-that-aged-poorly-within-12 hours sizzle.

El Don is back LIVE to break down managing the waiver wire from Sao Paulo, preview the playoffs, and strike fear into the hearts of whoever is behind making the schedule for FantHaasy Football with an exploration of his own outrageHaas misfortune.  All El Don epsiodes sizzle, enough said.

The Gato prowls onto the island to join the boys to break down a fresh batch of names, defend his lampoonable $33 purchase of Nick Mullens, and dive deep into the annals of league history in a very special trivia.  This one has that fuck Donald "Total Fucking Loser" Trump sizzle.

Just the Islanders this time, as Dixie indulges in the annual rite of passage that is the self-indulgent pity party and Michael tries to get a word in edgewise.  This one's got a LOT of me talking and a little bit of everything else, including our first ever listener e-mail being read  live  on air.  This one has that "how did this last a whole hour?" sizzle.

Everybody's favorite troll/innovator/firebrand drops by the island to talk a little week 6/7 action, play some Haasome trivia, and defend his latest attempt to tear apart the moral fabric of the league.  This one has the unique sizzle of friendships being challenged by fantasy football.

Pete takes a extended break from shredding the gnar to join the islanders for 90 minutes of fun ahead of the week 6 slate.  This episode's got it all: Wha's'm'name, PWTFDSTOW, and some fantHaastic trivia.  Hour and a half of sizzle.

Nico, JMau5, and some other special guests (that we were too afraid to ask to please just be quiet in the background) join the islanders in Palm Springs for a mid-VacHaasion recording session.  The sound quality? Poor.  The episode quality? Average?  This one definitely has that 105-degree, dry desert heat sizzle.

These NIMBYs better watch their BYs, because Chadwick's visiting the CeeDee Underbelly in the latest installment of The Island.  Wha's'm'name, Power Rankings, and some friendly fire sent Pete's way from our esteemed guest?? This ones got it all the hits--WHaas'm'name, Pete's Dogshit Trade Offer of the Week, How's Your Butker--and a brand new segment, Dixie's ConspirHaasy of the week, in which Danny joins the islanders to connect some dots.  This one has some minor-to-major technical difficulties sizzle, consider yourself warned.

Tyty and Petey join the islanders for a supHaasized episode of the pod.  With a healthy mix of classic and brand new segments, the boys break down the auction, week 1, and what has been a fHaast and furiHaas start to the game-within-the-game that is team names in 2020.  75+ minutes of sizzle.

Deep analytics, big data, small bladders are on the docket as DeadMau5 drops by the island for the first guest visit of season 3.  Just a quick lil' pre-auction pod running through the 2020 ForecHaast and looking ahead to the big night.  Bay area heatwave (literal) sizzle.

The boys are BACK, baby!  And everything is popping this episode, including every "p" and "b" pronounced by the islanders.  The start to season 3 sees the lads in pre-season form from an audio quality perspective, but mid-season form from a content quality perspective.  Season 3 sizzle.

The BHaash Bros--Tyler and Petey--drop in (virtually) to beg for mercy in their semi-final matchup with the one true MT1 and talk all things future league scoring, league weekend 2019, and what makes Petey more of a Joey than a Jesse.  This one has that...inferior-sound-quality-sizzle.

The islanders welcome JMau5 back to the (virtual) island to look back at Reddin's redemption and ahead to round 1 of the playoffs/butler bowl, all while awkwardly interrupting and talking over each other even more than one would think possible--even in a google hangout.  Short episode sizzle!

The champ is back in one of the more unhinged episodes to date for the sadder, less successful half of the island.  Moez equivocates, Dickson bloviates, and MPD mediates in this low-energy extravaganza.  Depression sizzle!

Chadwick joins the islanders to talk all things Hamilton, Butler no-show shame, and bear witness to a HUGE announcement from the bHaasyboi.  This one has the unique sizzle of Big. Structural. Change.

The islanders invite a highly respect special prosecutor onto their shores to pass judgment on the watershed moment in the league's history: its first case of collusion!  Also joining the islanders--representing the victims--is El Don.  Things don't go all that well.  Scandal sizzle.

Danny Reddin joins the islanders to talk through (read: listen to me yell about) a few of the week's crazier trades in a pod that has already aged poorly as of this Sunday evening posting.  Fun game idea for this episode: count the things I'm overwhelmingly wrong about now that we know how week 7 played out.  This one has that "wish I could take it all back" sizzle.

The boys are BACK!  The Islanders check back in on all things FantHaasy with special guest Nico, who sizzles cerebrally in his not-so-triumphant return to the Island.

Tragedy strikes the island (~minute 18), but the boys fight through, thanks to a healthy mix of vintage JMau5 positivity, sancerre, and some  very saucey trivia.  Be forewarned--this is a saucier sizzle than most. ps - but really though you're going to need to listen in a quiet place and turn the volume up when my audio cuts out.

The league's newest member drops by the island to show off how many first initials of his players he knows (spoiler alert - it's a lot), prove his bears fan bonafides, and lay down the the gauntlet for his inaugural season.  This one's got that Scotty sizzle.

The Islanders are BACK, baby!  Season 2 of the pod kicks off with the a look at the FantHaasy ForecHaast, a guest appearance from Stevie Licks, and a reminder to please, for the love of God, get to the auction on time.  The season of the sizzle is back.

Butler meets Master as the islanders break in a new, slightly less hella hip, recording studio to discuss the thrill of victory, agony of defeat, and ground rules for the inaugural butler humiliation exercise.  

The islanders VERY briefly discuss the championship and butler bowl, then spend ~40 minutes quizzing each other about stupidities and oddities from the season that was.  Still sizzlin' after all these eps.
