New series (January 2025) I Know, I know, it has been a while since I posted on here. But kicking off 2025 with a series on Dangerous Prayers. This first one looks at the prayer of Jacob and how and why we should ask for God’s blessings for ourselves more.

Finished up our study on the I AM statements of Jesus with Jesus being “The Vine” and how important it is for us to remain connected to Him.

Looking at our 5th “I AM” statement from Jesus in the Gospel of John, found in John 14:6. Jesus is exclusive, if you count being available to everyone exclusive.

The church is a place you should feel like you belong. We don’t always do a great job of that, but let’s try and get better. Telling someone they belong can have a huge impact on their lives. People say they are fine, but inside, they could be hemorrhaging. Something as simple as letting them know they belong, being like David, is what we need to do.

You never know what kind of trajectory you can set for someone’s life by simply inviting them to church.

Listen in as we start a new series for 2024, titled GO! We will spend 3 weeks looking at three times Jesus told someone to “Go and…” Tonight we explore Luke 10 and the Parable of the Good Samaritan, and how we are called to Go and do likewise.

God is a God of the living, not of the dead. Take a look with us at Luke 20:27-40 and His encounter with the Sadducees.

God is not mocked, He is not fooled, and in Galatians we read that we reap what we sow, so let’s reap the fruit of the spirit and stop trying to fool God. It won’t work.

As we study Hebrews 11:13-16, we can see that God is not ashamed to be called our God.
