Rest doesn't mean doing nothing...to REST in God means to trust in Him...looking to Him in all and every situation. Could it be the things we shouldn't fear we do...and the one thing Father tells us to fear - not entering His Rest...we do not!! It's time to be a Rest FULL people not the Rest LESS ones we have become

There are times in life when you are walking through a place, walking through a circumstance...and it just doesn't FEEL right. The atmosphere may be heavy...it just feels wrong. In those times, we need to recognise what is around us and about us and SHIFT that atmosphere for the better. HOW? 1. Recognise 2. Reject 3.Release 4. Rejoice

Israel gave up being God's special chosen people...to wanting to be a people 'like all the other nations'. Are there times in our lives where we do the same? What was special about David? This one thing we know - God look at the HEART!!

Everyday we are faced with the same question that the Israelites faced - What king will we serve? Today, let's choose together to come under the kingship of Jesus

God is always on our side...even when we don't understand. No matter the season we are walking through, when ever we turn to Jesus He will never turn away. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus - He is the only one who saves!!

In life so many things are speaking into our hearts trying to define our identity...but it is Father God alone that determines who we really are.

God has our back. No weapon formed against us can prosper. In the presence of the one true living God...all idols will fall. At the end of the day - every knee shall bow and every tongue confess, that Jesus is Lord.

Think of the worst thing that you have ever done...got it...ok. Now know this; God has already forgiven it!! so tell enemy - there is no shame, Father God has forgiven my sin and accepted me. Amen

We all have ears to hear...but over time the noise around our hearts and minds can drown out the voice of God. So...how can we hear Father speak to us today?

Could the noise around us be so loud that we struggle to hear His voice - God's voice. The children of Israel once struggled to hear the Father's voice...the word of the Lord was rare the scriptures say. But when He does speak, and when we do hear...are we willing like Eli to say - Give me your word, your servant is listening? Better still, can we utter these words, even when they're tough - Your...

What would happen if we prayed for our children and released them into the things of God? We are called to be the contrast between the gates of hell and heaven. We are the difference we need.

As believers...there are times that all we can do is PRAY.

You're either ALIVE in Christ or DEAD. But if you are ALIVE, then you need to be able to SEE those around as God sees.

Sometimes we need to learn to drop all the facades and then to weep bitterly before the Lord. Crying out to Him. Hannah did. David did. Jesus did.

God always finishes what He starts...sometimes though slower than we would like. If we know that we can trust Him...and if we trust Him in all seasons - It can be well with our soul.

We can do FAMILY better. We can do Church FAMILY better. In fact...our kids need it and their kids and their kids. And Ruth is a great example

We all have seasons that feel like WINTER. But how do we move through them on our way to our SPRING seasons. The Book of Ruth Chapter 1 has some great truths to learn from.

In Ruth Chapter 2, we see some amazing ways that Boaz loved Ruth and was good to her. He did all he could to keep her safe and have her feel like she belonged. There are some great family lessons right here!!

Could it be that we are living in a day and age that needs a major FAMILY upheaval? The Book of Ruth chapter 2 has some great insights for our homes and our churches.

We should always take the time to celebrate women...especially on occasions like Mother's Day. Mums, Grandmums, Spiritual Mums, Mentors, Big Sisters etc...all the women that have invested their lives into being a blessing to those around us.

We can all be Offended - Intentionally and unintentionally. We can all Offend others - Intentionally and unintentionally. But as believers, can we carry Offense? I don't believe so!!

In your greatest despair, in times of your greatest of lifes challenges...God is STILL there. Trust Him Hold onto Him.

What happens to our faith when we are walking in His will...being obedient, experiencing victory...and then tragedy, then pain, the heartbreak? Do we keep our faith? Do we question why? Do we act like we're trusting Him or do we become discouraged?? Let's see together what David did in his time of tragedy.

God has created each of us UNIQUELY. He has a plan and a purpose for all of us. A work for us that He needs us to do. Sometimes we have to acknowledge that we are special in Him...and when He calls. give Him whatever it is we have in our hands.

Father loves us so much that He invites and includes us in His family. So much so that before the beginning of table he prepared for us a seat at the table...His table.
