Faithful Not Flawless

Each of us have our own calling, our own task laid before us, our own race. What does your race look like? Are you at the beginning or close to the end? Your finish line is unique to you; the task God placed in your life. Finish, run, walk, however you get there; God will meet you there.

Do you know that we have to have all the ingredients for something to turn out good? Each step, each direction, each ingredient is all important; will you let the baker make you into who you were meant to be? God is the great creator, He loves variety. Will you allow Him to take your unique ingredients and turn it into His sweet aroma?

Have you ever felt like people were intentionally throwing stones at you? At every turn you were being hit with another one? Jesus is our Cornerstone; He can take those stones and make them into something beautiful. Let Him align your stones today.

Are you surrounded by distractions? Needing a moment just to be still and hear what God is trying to say? God is requiring our obedience in intentionally listening to Him. Don't panic in your storm, when your boat is rocking, and life is trying you. Seek Him today, He never fails.

Have you ever found yourself feeling as if you are being sifted? Shaken to the core, raw and alone? Remember who is interceding for you, Jesus.

How's your weather? Clear skies and smooth sailing or are you experiencing cloudy conditions? No matter what weather you find yourself in, God will transition you through it.

Have you ever found yourself being addicted to busy? Do you crave rest and stillness? He is the Helper; He has rest for you today. So, take a moment and rest in Him.

Are you in your moment of transition? Are you trying to put your new wine in an old wine skin, and you feel like your gong to burst? We understand that birthing pain and so does God. Let Him form you into your new wine skin and He will direct your path. It's time to become fine wine.

Have you ever felt yourself in a transition? It can be hard, messy, overwhelming and create upheaval in your life. God promises to never leave you nor forsake you, including in the transitional times. Just remember that in the transition, there is growth, progress and transformation. He is with you in the fire of the transition.

Have you ever felt like you're in the dark with just a flicker of a flame to guide you? Ask God to take that flicker and turn it into a raging flame to light up your path. Seek Him and read His word. Let His light guide you today.

Have you ever felt alone? Like no one is meeting you at your 'well'? God promises to create rivers in your dry and thirsty places. No one can fill you like He can. Let Him meet you at your well today. He is the living water.

He calls us to love in action, requiring us to love even in the fire or the one who is stoking it. He is calling us to pray blessings over the stoker. Start praying those blessings and watch what God can do!

Sometimes reality is messy and emotional. It can bring out the feeling of helplessness and sometimes we just want to cover our heads and hide. But God... He is not governed by emotions, like we often are. He is the same today, tomorrow and forever. He sees just where you are at in your present moments and He sets in our path these moments that reminds us of His faithfulness.
