Bible Teacher Clay Scroggins teaches out of Genesis 11, asking us to consider how often we strive to forge our own paths and identities. Instead, we should walk humbly through doors God has already opened for us.

Jared Darby teaches us that Noah’s world isn’t so different from our own. Even as Noah and his family were saved from the rising waters, they had to reckon with the sin they brought along – in each of their hearts. We are in the same predicament. The wooden vessel we look to isn’t the ark but the cross. And Jesus is standing ready to deliver us if we turn to him.

Steve Carter explores the dynamic between Cain and Abel – and the way that God experienced the generosity of each. He reminds us that God’s words to Cain, to know himself so well that he can rule over sin, also apply to us. Understanding that there is no scarcity of God’s goodness should free us to celebrate with one another and to be generous towards God.

Pastor Ken looks at the enemy’s deception in Genesis 3 and how his tactics really haven’t changed in how he seeks to lead us away from the Lord today. He points out how the enemy seeks to separate us from God, how we can arm ourselves again those attempts, and how God is always better than any temptation put in front of us.

In Sunday’s message Pastor Ken reminds us of the reasons that God created marriage: marriage is a vehicle for forever friendship, a place for safe sexuality, and a means of sanctification. He calls us to stand against culture’s superficial view of marriage and embrace the rich relationship God always intended.

God wants us to come to Him with whatever is on our hearts - the little things and the big things. Don't take this gift lightly - come before God with your needs, your praise, and your thanksgiving!

Founding Pastor Ken Werlein shares a special Christmas Eve message from Matthew, reminding us that the virgin Mary bore a son and called him Immanuel – God with us. What a gift God gave us to freely receive — Jesus Christ, the Son of God, sent to dwell among us and give us the gift of life.

Bible Teacher Dan Slagle reminds us that forgiveness is something we need to practice - giving and receiving. It’s one of the purest acts of grace we can experience and once we have received forgiveness there’s really only one appropriate response: to forgive as we have been forgiven.

Worship Pastor Lizi Bailey reminds us that pursuing humility lets us live in truth. Pride deceives us, but true humility - not thinking less of ourselves, but thinking of ourselves less - positions us to receive from Jesus. Humility keeps us open to God and others.

Steve reminded us that when we want to know what God is like, we should look to Jesus. As a church body, every thing we do should be a representation of our God as we are called to be Christlike. That way when people look to us, they can see Jesus, the image on the invisible God.

Clay challenged us to live up to the call of Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." In the season of holidays and family gatherings this can be especially challenging. Whether or not we like someone, by focusing on our own behavior we can model the love of God.

Michael McDowell calls us to examine our response to God's generous gifts in light of Luke 17. God is always lavishing his gifts on us - but when those gift change, do we respond with anger or with trust in the Gift-Giver? To move our hearts from selfishness to trust we need to look for the gifts of God in our lives and express gratitude!

Founding Pastor Ken Werlein explores the question, 'Why can't we get a grip on greed?' Jesus talked about money frequently, urging us to recognize that everything we have comes from God and belongs to Him. We are only stewards. In Acts 20, Paul tells us that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Steve challenged us to understand the heartbeat of scripture and orient our life around Jesus. Our time, talent, treasure, testimony, and thinking should reflect Him.

Bible Teacher Ben Stuart preaches from Mark 4 diving into the parable of the sower. If we want to be the men and women who God calls us to be, we need humble hearts that are fertile ground for the words of Jesus. Let us accept not just the kingdom but the King Himself!

Founding Pastor Ken Werlein delivers the final sermon in our two-year series on the Life of Jesus. At the end of Acts, Paul is finally in Rome but imprisoned! Despite his circumstances, Paul continues to be a powerful witness for the resurrected Christ. We have the same chance. If we allow it, God will use our lives to His glory - whatever our age, station, or circumstance.

This Sunday Clay taught out of Acts 27, exploring a question that everyone wrestles with. Why does God allow us to go through storms in life? Seasons of testing are one way that God teaches us to cling to him above all else. God does not let us walk through these times alone; He is with us. The outcome that he is after is a heart that trusts Him more than ever.
