The other day I heard a commercial on the radio about a car dealership telling me that they wanted to get me into the car that I deserved. How do they even know what I deserve?

Do you just get up and go to church or do you do something before you get there? And I’m not talking about putting on some clothes, grabbing a bite to eat, driving there. What do you do with your heart?

We can become so acclimated and accustomed to things, sin, the world, that we don’t realize the threat that those things present.

Don’t get led astray and believe that the right thing is popular.

There are many Christians still setting in the jail cell even though the doors are unlocked and their record has been expunged.

Don’t buy the jewelry store lie that says spending a lot of money one day a year will make up for 364 days of ignoring your significant other. And don’t buy the lie that just going to church will give you a great relationship with God.

Is there such a thing as a radio station pastor? Well, maybe in name, but not according to God and there’s a reason for that.

Can you use your faith to override what the Holy Spirit is telling you to do?

There’s a lot of voices out there, but are you listening to the right one?

You are always going to influence somebody, even if you never know it.

Do you know what the percentage of rat poison is actually lethal? It’s actually very little. And there’s a good reason for that.

What’s going into you? More importantly, what’s coming out of your mouth?

Ones thing that will help us greatly in life is learning that we need to disconnect our emotions from the truth.

Is Jesus all you need? There’s a lot of songs that proclaim Jesus is all you need, just give me Jesus, and things like that. But what does the Bible actually say?

The Bible has a lot to say about the power of your words. What you say is going to determine what your life becomes.

There is a story in Exodus chapter 8 that reminds us that we shouldn’t put off things until tomorrow that can be dealt with today.

There is a strength and ability found when we pray. Without prayer, we cannot live out the Christian life. Without prayer we cannot obey what God has told us to do.

Did you know that there is an umbrella face? When it’s raining in the world, and pouring down on everyone the curse that is upon this world, you can stand peacefully under that umbrella faith and not be concerned about any of those things coming upon you.

Are you the type of person that has the Jesus fish in your car, the cross necklace made out of three nails, the trendiest most latest Christian T-shirt? Let me ask you, why do you have that? Why are you wearing that? Why are you doing those things?

One day we’re going to have to make a decision - is the thing that God is doing in our life actually from God or from something else. Because it is possible that someone is going to challenge that thing that God has done in your life and tell you to deny that is God working and stay with them, or stay with God and leave them behind.

When we get born again we become a new creation in Christ. If you study that out, the Greek gives an understanding that new creation means “an original species that has never before existed.”

The apostle Paul made a mention about a specific person, and said that there was no one else in Paul’s entourage that was like this one person. And the quality that set this person apart is striking, especially for Christians.

When we go to church and we hear a preacher give a message, what is that message - The word of man or the word of God? How we receive it and decide what it is, will determine how it works our life.

How do you see people has a profound effect on them and on yourself. Seeing them through your own eyes it’s going to hinder your life and quite possibly theirs.

Who determines whether God will move? Who determines whether the message that was preached has an impact on the people? The answer may surprise you.
