In the pause between Good Friday and Easter morning there is waiting, doubt and uncertainty. But although its unseen, Jesus is active and working.

On the Friday of Holy Week, our Lord was put to death. But while it was the intention of sinful people to make Jesus the victim, he went to his death willingly to make the way of salvation and hope for all people!

On the Thursday of Holy Week, Jesus ate the Last Supper with his disciples and went to the garden to pray before his arrest and suffering.

On the Wednesday of Holy Week our Lord paused. Many people don't know what to do in the pause. Many people have never learned to remain still. Why did Jesus pause? Was nothing accomplished? We will consider this today in our Holy Week reflection.
