Titus 2:12 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, Dependency on things other than Christ Addicted to Christ or things of the flesh. Question: Can you be a Christian and deal with addictions?

It is God's will for us to prosper financially, to be in health, and for our souls to prosper (3 John 2). This is the three-part blessing of being obedient to His will and commands. God's success plan for man encompasses the prospering of the spirit, soul and body with both spiritual and material blessings.
