Faith For All

Religion EN ↓ 100 episodes

Welcome to the Cross of Glory ”Faith For All” podcast. It’s really two podcasts in one. For the first podcast, we will be posting sermons that were given on Sunday mornings, during Sunday services. We will be posting sermons that have “important to hear” messages, that were interesting, and carried meaning for everyone. The second podcast type will be a group of people from the church who will discuss...well...something. The topics could range from pop culture to the biblical history, from world events to chickens. We hope you can join us while we look at Faith For All.

Change: Finding God in change 28.10.2024

Because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people— the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the d...

Change: The Icky Stuff 21.10.2024

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,     and his ears are attentive to their cry; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil,     to blot out their name from the earth. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;     he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted     and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:15-18  New Internationa...

Change: God is doing a new thing 14.10.2024

This is what the Lord says—     he who made a way through the sea,     a path through the mighty waters, who drew out the chariots and horses,     the army and reinforcements together, and they lay there, never to rise again,     extinguished, snuffed out like a wick: “Forget the former things;     do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!     Now it springs up; do you not perceive...

Discussion: The Band Talks Music 07.10.2024

Praise God in his sanctuary;     praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power;     praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,     praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with timbrel and dancing,     praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals,     praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everythin...

Did Jesus Really Say That? Final "Jesus was not political" 16.09.2024

Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do. For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. But our...

Did Jesus Really Say That? ep 6 "Everything happens for a reason" 09.09.2024

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.     He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,     he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths     for his name’s sake. Even though I walk     through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil,     for you are with me; your rod and your staff,     they comfort me. You prepare a table before me     in the presence o...

Did Jesus Really Say That? ep5 "God is color blind" 02.09.2024

After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”   Revelation 7:9-10   New Inter...

Did Jesus Really Say That? ep 4 "Love the sinner, Hate the sin" 26.08.2024

To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else, Jesus told this parable: “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I...

Did Jesus Really Say That? ep 3 "God wants you to be Healthy, Happy, and Wealthy" 19.08.2024

I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10b    New International Version     Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing...

Did Jesus Really Say That? ep 2 "God never gives you more than you can handle" 12.08.2024

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13.      New International Version   BUT WAIT...   The Lord is close to the brokenhearted     and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18     N...

Did Jesus Really Say That? ep 1 "God helps those who help themselves" 05.08.2024

One day Jesus was teaching, and Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there. They had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with Jesus to heal the sick. Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus. When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they we...

Dealing With Doubt Part 2 08.07.2024

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” And with...

Cross of Glory Faith Basics: Baptism part 2 24.06.2024

Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. Romans 15:7 New International Version     If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?   Matthew 5:46-47 New International Version

Cross of Glory Faith Basics: Baptism part 1 17.06.2024

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:8-10.  New International Version

Cross of Glory Faith Basics: Pentacost 11.06.2024

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. Now there...

Paul's letter to the Philippians episode 5: Joy and Community in Chris 03.06.2024

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, dear friends! I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. Yes, and I ask you, my true companion, help these women since they have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names a...

Paul's letter to the Philippians episode 4: Jesus is Better 20.05.2024

Watch out for those dogs, those evildoers, those mutilators of the flesh. For it is we who are the circumcision, we who serve God by his Spirit, who boast in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh— though I myself have reasons for such confidence. If someone else thinks they have reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more: circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Isra...

Paul's letter to the Philippians episode 3: Live like Jesus 13.05.2024

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to y...

Paul's letter to the Philippians episode 2: An invitation to Joy 06.05.2024

Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear. It is true...

Paul's letter to the Philippians episode 1: To live as Christ 29.04.2024

Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, To all God’s holy people in Christ Jesus at Philippi, together with the overseers and deacons: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of t...

Discussion: Living Faith at Work 22.04.2024

This week members of Cross of Glory talk about sharing your faith at work.

What is in a Name 15.04.2024

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. New International Version 1 John 3:1   Then Jesus went from Galilee to the Jordan River to be baptized there by John. John didn’t want to do it. “This isn’t proper,” he said. “I am the one who needs to be baptized b...
