Beauty for Ashes: Broken Yet Beautiful in God's Eyes Isaiah prophesied and Jesus confirmed that he was sent to bind up the brokenhearted, to comfort all who mourn and to give beauty for ashes. God says, in and through Jesus, that we are broken but beautiful in His eyes.

The picture of Jesus fishing with nets is close to the idea of evangelism that he had in mind when he called his disciples. Evangelism "by net" is a picture of what church is supposed to be - accepting, helping and loving people right where they are. How can we weave a net of relationship in new and life-giving ways?
