1 Corinthians 6:12-20. Previously, we looked at several truths from 1 Corinthians 6 related to Paul's instruction to "glorify God in your body." Paul tells the Corinthians that their bodies are a member of Christ. In this study, Evangelist Jacob Holman looks at one use of our body that the world endorses and encourages but doesn't glorify God.

Luke 1 and 2. The day of judgment elicits a range of complicated emotions: joy, fear, blessings, and punishment. The same was true of first-century Christians. In this study, Evangelist Gavin Williams looks at how faithful people in Luke 1-2 anticipated Christ's coming and how Christians today should anticipate Christ's second coming.

Matthew 11:16-19. Christ came to save and spend time with sinners. The religious leaders of the day derided Jesus for being the "friend of sinners." In this study, Evangelist Jacob Holman examines how Jesus was a friend of sinners, and how we can be as well.

We know from texts like Proverbs 22:6 that God wants parents to train and shape their children's hearts for Him. But how do we train our children to serve God? In this sermon, Evangelist Jacob Holman looks at some tools God gives us to shape our children's hearts for Him, as well as the rewards of doing so.

2 Samuel 16:5-11. When David was on the run from Absalom, he came upon Shimei who cursed David. Later, upon David's return to Jerusalem, Shimei praised David. In this study, Evangelist Xavier Redmon examines David's responses to Shimei and how David's mercy compares to Jesus' mercy.

Mark 2:18-22. The disciples and Pharisees were confused because Jesus did not fit the mold of earthly leaders. In this study, Evangelist Phillip Treat looks at Jesus' response to the confusion about keeping traditions and how this relates to Christians today.

Galatians 6:12-15. From the Thief on the Cross and the Centurion who witnessed Christ's death, and many more, the cross of Christ has changed the lives of millions of people throughout the world. The cross can change anyone who wants to change. In this study, Evangelist Jacob Holman looks to the cross and the important lesson that Christ can change us.

2 Cor. 5:18-20. It is a Christian's duty to share the hope that is within us and reconcile the world to Christ. However, we often find it difficult to do and make excuses for not sharing the Gospel with others. In this study, Evangelist Phillip Treat looks at four of the excuses Moses made to God and how they relate to us today.

1 Samuel 1-2. Our prayer life may not be all that it should be. Hannah, the mother of Samuel, was a strong person of faith who endured shame and trials. In this study, Evangelist Gavin Williams examines the prayer life of Hannah and how we can emulate her faithful prayer life.

Revelation 5. In the early part of John's vision, we finally see the powerful king who is worthy to open the seals of God's eternal plan. The picture given is that of a slain lamb walking. In this study, Evangelist Gavin Williams analyzes why the lamb's image is so powerful in the scope of the Bible story.

John 13:1-17. We continue our 2023 congregational theme of "More Like Jesus." This study focuses on the time Jesus washed the feet of His apostles, as recorded in John 13. In this study, Evangelist Jacob Holman examines how God can make us a servant, just like Jesus.

Acts 10 records the story of the conversion of Cornelius, a non-Jew, and his family. The event marked a shift in the gospel when everyone, regardless of background, would be welcomed into the Kingdom of God. In this study, Evangelist Gavin Williams seeks to answer the question, can the Gospel really be for all?

1 Corinthians 6:12-20. There appears to be an overriding truth in Scripture that the ultimate aim of our earthly lives is to glorify God. In 1 Corinthians 6:20, Paul takes that truth and applies it to our physical bodies. Psalm 32. In this psalm, David speaks of the pain and guilt of sin and the temptation to hide sin. In this study, Evangelist Gavin Williams examines how this psalm also covers how to enter into God's joy.

Romans 8:31-39. Do you ever feel like the world is against you? Do you ever feel like God is against you? If you belong to Christ, the "good news" of the gospel is that God is FOR you! In this study, Evangelist Jacob Holman examines Paul's question, "If God Is for Us, Who Can Be Against Us?" from Romans 8.

In this study, guest evangelist Jonathan Banning explains what it means to be a member of the church found in the Bible - what it believes, what it means, and its purpose.

A continuation of a study of the minor prophet Haggai. Evangelist Jacob Holman will examine some of the life applications from the Old Testament book of Haggai.
