Our freewill offering to God is a life pursuing holiness in light of the guidance given by the Holy Spirit.

The psalmist finds himself at rest from his affliction. He repeats his dedication to learn, love, and live the Law of God and shows benefits in his life from this pursuit of God's path to holiness.

The psalmist seeks assurance as he waits for God to answer his cries of affliction. Assurance is found in God's unchanging nature and in His redemption.

Paul presents the basics of the Good News he preached and the necessity of the resurrection.

The arrogant have chosen their own path, a path not defined by loyalty to God and His word. As they walk this path, they persecute the psalmist. He has suffered the persecution for longer than he can bear. In surprising honesty, the psalmist brings his pain and suffering to God with the prayer, "Help me!" The psalmist finds that GOD'S WORD IS HOPE FOR THE HOPELESS.

God brings loving and merciful comfort through the fellowship of believers.
