Failing Up
Life is improvisation! Observations from a regular guy on how with world around us impacts who we are and what we perceive. Nothing Stronger Than a Mother's Love. Observations from a Mamma's Boy 08.05.2022 21:18
There is not a love great then that of our Mothers. A love that lasts long after they have passed. A love of lessons comfort, challenge. Cannabis So Many Opportunities, So Many Questions 01.05.2022 15:53
As I was driving in my car an advertisement came on the radio for Cannabis in New York, my mind was flooded with questions. Where does one smoke it if they can? Can you grow it at home, like a home brew? So many que...

Will Smith Breaking the 4th Wall 29.03.2022 21:10
Will Smith took matters into his own hands at the Academy Awards. Unable to control his emotions, or match wit with Chris Rock he resorted violence, reserved for those who are unable to control or reason. He took it upon himself to decide that his wife was helpless and like a hero in a movie he stormed the stage to take on the evil Chris Rock. What an insult to assume that a woman can't sta...
PEACE Why Not? What's the Threat? 27.03.2022 20:00
Here we are watching another mad man rage war and commit atrocities, and my question is why is peace such an unnatural concept for our world. From Jesus Christ, to Mahatma Gandhi, to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. those that were peaceful and spoke of peace, love, equality were killed. Peace has been written about performed in song, viewed in art, yet is does not seem possible. Now, once again aggre...

There Is No "New Normal" And The "Old Normal" Is To Be Avoided! 17.01.2022 21:07
Normal is not new! Normal is established by those pulling the strings in order to manipulate and have control. As we reflect through history "the old normal" was not that great. Why would we want to strive to achieve it for the sake of false comfort and security for some groups. There is not such thing as "the good old days." timothymahar.org

FAME The Ultimate Addiction 31.12.2021 19:19
In this episode I reflect on how our culture has become addicted to fame. Fame the fools errand now pursued for the sake of being famous as opposed to the excellence in a chosen endeavor. And like any addiction once experienced the user can't give it up. Reality television, social media, people becoming famous for stupid acts. There was a time when fame was a bi-product of excellence and...
COMEDY Stand Up or Improv Different Forms Same Message 28.12.2021 18:54
In this episode I reflect on how comedy not only makes us laugh, but creates an awareness. Oscar Wilde said, "If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they will kill you." Comedy and these two different forms makes us laugh and becomes more funny as our circumstances become more serious. From Lenny Bruce to Carlin, and Prior to the Second City and the "No...

The pandemic has prepared us to deal with the hustle and bustle of the holiday season like nothing else could. We became accustomed to rushing into stores playing parking lot demolition derby to get our items, (toilet paper) before it was gone. Grapping the canned food, just like we search for presents and holiday dinner. It has been holiday survival boot camp. timothymahar.org

Happy Halloween No More Toilet Paper. 31.10.2021 8:23

Learn to Color Outside the Lines!! 30.10.2021 27:11
In this episode I reflect on how organizations and individuals strive to think "outside the box". If we we never were put in a box we would not have to attempt to think outside of it. This goes back to childhood when we are rewarded for coloring between the lines and using the correct colors. Don't look at the lines and choose our own colors. The lines are what exists, how we a...
