This week we are continuing our look at the many aspects of church, and in this message we are going to look at the traditions of church. Why do we do what we do in a worship service.

This week we will be taking a look at the Purpose of the Church, and more than likely a perspective you don’t often hear or are encouraged to consider in terms of our current culture.

This year marks the 250th anniversary since the Rev. John Newton wrote the incredibly powerful hymn Amazing Grace. It is a hymn sung the world over and for many occasions. But have you ever stopped to ponder just the words that tell the most amazing story of one man’s encounter with God’s perfect grace?

After much consideration on what God might allow us to do in the future, we are going to embark on a major undertaking, and that of bringing the online ministry of Face Your Faith to an in-person venue, yes, we are looking to plant a church in the Phoenix, AZ metro area in 2024.

So, 2022 is over and 2023 is here to stay, like it or not. But what’s in a new year? Is there something so magical on one particular day of the year that really alters the course of life? And why do we always wait until the end of an old year, to start doing things we want to do or need to do, until the next year?

This week, the final week of advent, we will be in the book of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 and will taking a good look at LOVE and what Love is really all about. And this coincides with the lighting of the third purple candle and the 4th of the five candles, which will take us up to next week, Christmas Day, when we will celebrate the birth of Jesus, and lighting the the final candle, the Christ candle,...

This week marks the third week of Advent and we are going to take a good look at PEACE which coincides with the lighting of the second purple candle. But What is peace? Where can we find it? Does peace truly exist? Will it ever exist, and if it does, what does it look like and what does it feel like?

Today as we enter the second week of Advent we are going to focus on the topic of Joy which correlates to the lighting of the pink candle of the advent wreath. And Joy is certainly something that most everybody want’s to experience and when it is experienced in fullness, it is a truly remarkable thing.

Today our topic is on Hope! And I hope our study together of God’s Word will be very inspiring to you. This study also marks the first of four weeks of the Advent season, which serves as a time for each of us to refocus our attention on just why we even celebrate the birth of a Savior.

This week our topic is on respecting authority, and what God’s Word says and what God expects of believers in this area of our lives and the consequences that ensue if we do not.

This week we will be looking at the need for having our lives regularly edited. Yes, just like you would have someone do for you if you were to write a book, or write for a publication, or even something that might be written for your company or for your customers or to your boss.
