Eyes On B1G

It's always a special EOB episode when Dustin Schutte from Saturday Tradition is the guest.  This episode starts with a recap of the Big Ten Championship game in Indianapolis.  Then Dustin joins in to vote on the EOB 2019 Awards.  Shenanigans, Tomfoolery, and Ballyhoo are the result.  We had some fun with these.  Please subscribe and share!

The culmination of the 2019 B1G Season is upon us.  The Badgers take on the vaunted Buckeyes for all the marbles in the only city that will ever host the Big Ten Championship game - Indianapolis.  CFP Rankings, B1G Power Rankings, Bowl Projections, Schiano hire, and of course pumpkin pie.  It's all here on the EOB Podcast.  

The saddest of days is upon us...the end of the CFB regular season.  BTGOTW was not as entertaining as hoped and the game in the Big House turned into a route.  Nevertheless, we had a barn-burner in West Lafayette and a shocker in Champaign.  Up next is the B1G Champ Game in Indy between Wisconsin and Ohio State.  

Rivalry Week is upon us!  As great as it is it also indicates the last week of the regular season for the country's greatest conference.  What could be the BTGOTW?  Hmmm....

Not a whole lot of puckering happened this week although we did get a barn-burner in Iowa City and an apparent snoozer turns interesting for the BTGOTW. All 14 teams were in action in conference games. Week 13 is in the books leaving only one regular season week to go...Rivalry Week.  

It's "Pucker Week" in the Big Ten Conference.  That's right, everyone is a little nervous with Rivalry Week coming up.  Unlike down South where it's a much different theme of "Cupcake Week".  In the country's best conference there's still a chance you blow it before the B1G game.  ALL 14 teams in action and ALL B1G on B1G crime this week.  Enjoy!

The BTGOTW did not disappoint as we had a barn burner in Iowa City.  All three trophies stay in their respective places for another year.  The OSU train keeps rolling and UMass is really bad at Football.  

Attention:  The audio quality of this episode is below our normal standard.  Our apologies and we hope you still enjoy the show.  Week 12 is upon us and there are 6 games on the docket.  Three trophy games are featured:  one forced, one ugly, and one magnificent bastard!  The BTGOTW is an easy choice...OINK, OINK!!!  

It was a B1G barn burner Saturday, baby!  Payback for all the snooze-fests we have endured this year.  Four doozies and one snoozer were on the docket this week.  Will the Gophers get the national love they deserve now?  

Week 11 brings a couple things:  a much better slate of games than last week (YAY!!!) and the first College Football Playoff Rankings (yay).  The Greek and Kurt explore both here.  BTGOTW is a doozie with two 8-0 behemoths squaring off.

Only four games?!  Better find some content.  Mailbag!!!  That's right - our first ever mailbag and it's Gold, Jerry, Gold!  What are the B1G Coaches favorite bands?  Not so fast my friend!  Yes, there are four games and the BTGOTW may not be between ranked teams but it could be a Barn Burner!  BTW game analysis begins around 42:00.  

What a week for the B1G as the teams at the top flexed their muscles.  A slate of 8 games made for a busy Saturday as all teams were in action.  While no team is eliminated from bowl contention yet there are four whose chances are bleak, seven who have qualified, and three fighting for a spot.  The Gophers are in the driver's seat in the West and the Buckeyes look like the nation's best team.  Ple...

The Eyes on B1G cup runneth over!  Eight games?  I'm gonna need another TV!  All 14 Big Ten teams are in action this week with two non-conference tilts.  The BTGOTW has maybe lost some luster after last week's massive upset but it's a B1G one in C-bus nevertheless.  Please rate, review, and share!  

The Illini win!  The Illini win!  OMG I don't believe it the Illini win!  In the upset of the 2019 CFB season the Illini shock the world and down the vaunted Wisconsin Badgers.  The week started off with a snoozer in Evanston on Friday but Saturday made up for it.  Four of the five games were good ones culminating with the glorious White Out in Happy Valley.  Please subscribe and share!

Another week and another set of blowouts except the BTGOTW lived up to its billing in Iowa City.  Several teams have separated themselves both good and bad and the B1G has three legitimate CFP contenders.  Listen, rate, review, share, enjoy!

Nothing but B1G on B1G crime this week.  Northwestern and AN Ohio State University are IDLE.  Ranked on Ranked crime taking place in Iowa City and an underrated game in the Twin Cities.  Hold onto your butts!  

A couple games reverted back to 1970's Big Ten football of three yards and a cloud of dust while the remainder weren't exactly thrillers.  OSU continues to do OSU things and looks like a Natty contender.  Enjoy, rate, review, share!

One third of the way through the 15 week season (including the B1G Champ Game).  Mercy.  One heck of a slate of games though with a B1G one in the Big House.  Odds on favorite OSU gets a big test and an intriguing one in the Twin Cities.  The guys finish off this episode with Feats of Strength:  a rant about the new Name, Image, Likeness law in CA.  Who doesn't love a good rant?!

The BTGOTW turned out to be not that as the Buckeyes established themselves as the Alpha in the conference and perhaps the whole country.  Minnesota made things interesting as always and we had a true Barn Burner in East Lansing as Sparty is still sporting the Spittoon.  Listen, Subscribe, Share!

A big slate of games this week with Illinois as the only team that is IDLE.  Iowa faces a non-conference foe while the other six games are B1G on B1G crime.  ESPN's "GameDay" will again be at the BTGOTW as the Buckeyes attempt to take down the Huskers in Lincoln.  Listen, Rate, Review, Subscribe, Share!

The night game was a barn-burner in Champaign saving the day from the 5 other snooze-fests.  The BTGOTW was a laugher causing BK to call for the ouster of perhaps the conference's most storied program.  What a weekend in the country's best conference as it looks like there are two legitimate CFP contenders. There was a lot of sloppiness this weekend from Champaign through the swamp that became Ames and at several stops in between.  The sloppiness even spilled over into B1G Kurt's Sunday afternoon social activities.  But sloppy football is still football (are we still talking about football here?) and we learned a lot more about the teams in America's best College Football conference.  Please share, r...
