Expression Church

We kicked off our new series this morning which focuses on money and what the bible has to say about it. In this message Pastor Peter focused on the attitude of our heart when it comes to money and gave us three T's that we should use to evaluate how we are spending it.

We finished our mini-series on Extravagant Worship with a message from Ps Don called "On Earth As It Is In Heaven. Worship brings us good fruit, but are we known by that fruit? Listen as Ps Don encourages us to be a people who are wholehearted worshippers.

In this podcast, we begin a new series called 'Extravagant Worship'. In this first episode, Ps Peter used the story of Mary and the perfume to illustrate what extravagant worship looks like and how that applies in our own lives.

We had the privilege of having Ps Martin Winterson with us this morning and he shared a great word. Continuing with our theme for the year of 'Flourish', he talked about how we approach worship and what God is looking for when we do.

Getting to know the person and the principles of Christ is done through spending time alone with him. In this message, Ps Peter explains why this is important and encourages us to make this a priority in our lives so that when tough times come, we fight our battles the way God intended.

Our theme this year as a Church is 'Flourish'. In this message from Pastor Peter, we look at what it takes to live a life that is consistently flourishing and how we need to keep ourselves rooted in God's word to achieve that consistency.

Our series 'In This House' has been all about sharing the culture we want to foster here at Expression Church. In our final message of the series, we look at how important it is for us to do life together.

We kicked off our new series today with a message from Ps Peter about the culture we want to create at Expression Church. In order for the church to grow, it needs healthy people who are actively looking to grow themselves and those around them. Listen as Ps Peter gives us 6 'Up' values that we are looking to grow in as a Church, and evaluate how you can grow in these areas in your own life.

Ps Peter wrapped our Relationship series with a great message on leaving a Godly legacy. Using examples of people in his own life, he shared how they have influenced him and helped shaped him into who he is today. He encouraged us that we all have an opportunity to do that for others as well and that we are designed to do life together.

We were blessed to have Ps Cara sharing the word with us in the third message of our Relationship Series. In this message, she shared how important it is to surround ourselves with people that will build us up and strengthen us in all areas of our lives. As you listen to this message, take some time to check your own circle and see if you are surrounding yourself with the right kind of people.

"Out of this relationship" is the second message from Ps Peter in our current relationship series. Ps Peter talks about why it's important for us to have a close relationship with God so that out of that we are able to impact and share with others.

We started off the first message in our new series on relationships on Sunday. In this message, Ps Peter asks who we are letting influence our relationships, and shows us through the examples of the ping pong balls in water, what happens when we allow God to work through our relationships.

 Ps Peter took us to Psalm 23 this morning and encouraged us in the fact that the Lord is our Shepard. We are able to go to him and find rest and comfort when we need it most. It was a great message and we trust you are blessed as you listen. 

 Our current series on Taking Ground looks at the ways in which we are called to take ground for Christ in different areas of our lives. In this message, James encourages us to view our workplace as a place that God wants to use us in and gives us some practical tips and advice as to how we can do this. 

We are in the middle of our current series, Taking Ground, and this morning we had the privilege of hearing from Ps Done on being Salt and Light on this earth. He talked about that importance of salt and how this relates to scripture and what we are called to do.  We wrapped up the last message in our series on Prayer with a stirring message from Ps Peter on Prayer & Work. We looked at a number of scriptures that encourage us to ask God for our needs, and how doing this consistently develops dependency and character. Download and share the message so that others can be encouraged in this important area as well. 

This is our third message in the current series on prayer, and we look at what to do with unanswered prayer. Using the example of Roses chocolates, Ps Peter challenged us around giving all our concerns and pain to God, not just the bits we are comfortable with. It was a great message and we know that you will be blessed and encouraged as you listen.

We had the privilege of having Jan speak to us on the power of using Prayer and Fasting as a tool to change things in the spirit realm. Listen as she shares from personal testimony about the power it carries, and how it can change situations. Be encouraged that fasting is something you can also do and mover to another level in Christ.

We started our new series "Prayer" with a great message from Christ Starrenburg on Spiritual Warfare.  We extended our Influence Series to include another message, Faithful Influence. Ps Peter spoke on why it is important to be faithful in the small things to be able to influence and win others for Christ. Sharing God's love with others is something that we are all called to do and we hope this message encourages you to seek to do this in your own life. 

 This is the last message in our series on influence and we saved the best till last. Ps Peter encouraged us that when as Sons and Daughters of God, we don't need to wait to be older or wiser to be able to influence others, we are all called to it now. The influence that we use to point others to Christ will echo throughout eternity. 

 It was great to have Ps Peter back from India and preaching from the word. In this podcast, we continue our current series and looked at how we can influence others through our pain. Ps Peter shared from the story of Ruth in the Bible and drew some parallels about the difficulties and pain she went through, and how we can apply these principles in our own lives to help influence others.&nbsp...
